[RESOLVED] Have setup GameEx Live.....but...

Many thanks for getting me up and running on Game-Ex Live, it worked for a day now it doesn't seem to update or want to connect. I have added port 8383 to my exeptions list on my router and firewall in my cab, but it don't wanna play :-(

Any ideas guys? It's probably something I missed again!!

GameExtender has nothing to do with GameEx Live. Thats hooked into your gamercard. GameExtender is for secondary monitors and inter-network images.

You don't need to add exceptions for any ports for GameEx Live. It should work under upnp.

I just looked at mine and the image updated to Double Dragon 2 but the text still says Golden Tee, which I haven't played in 4 days. I think something's wrong. Tom may need to look into it.

Its maybe got something to do with the recent update involving network connectivity... Would someone else mind testing to confirm?

Not at all, it just confirms why I have stuck with Game Ex since 2006/7. The community and how quick/easy it is to get things fixed is awesome. Not only that, it's nice to know that Tom himself is on hand to fix things too. (You don't get THAT kind of service from Microsoft!!!)

Hi, I have just moved servers. The reason things may be out of sync is because of DNS. Some people will resolve to the old server and some to the new. It may take another 24 hours for DNS servers around the net to be fully up to date as they are caching the old server. If you recently created (last day or so) a game card you may have to do so again if it was created on the old server.
