A Fair Warning

I love this forum and have a lot of respect for many of the users, mods, and admins that help to make this place enjoyable while supporting a class-act of a program for the emulation community. That being said, there have been several that have been warned several times by myself and other mods to watch the content of their posts.

If the trend continues, it is likely that the next step will be warnings with limited bans for those that insist on bucking the requests of our host and moderators. Please review the forum rules. Especially watch the talk about obtaining illegal software or software in a manner that is illegal, piracy, etc. Also, if a mod or admin asks you to watch your content, watch your responses. If you disagree, then take it up with the mod. If you disagree with his/her judgement, then the admins are your next step. Public disrespect may result with negative consequences.

I understand your position. There are somethings we can turn a blind eye too, after all it is emulation. You are correct we do not condone software piracy on the forum, do not post links to software and are not a warez forum.

I will second what Draco says, if you are warned deal with it, no big deal. Move on.

If a user insists on arguing semantics, understand this is not a democracy, we try to be fair but understand this is not your board and we are only looking after Tom's best interests. Which is not to get un-needed attention from any agency's claiming to represent company that are having their IP (intellectual property) infringing on.

Thanks Adultery! My intent was not to single out anyone as the whipping boy and, to be honest, I'd rather not have to deal with volunteers! We had become a little lax in our conversations as forum members and enforcement of the house rules as forum staff.

@Han - it's all good and, yes, moving on!
