How do you enable and disable volume control in GameEx? When I updated to 9.70 I noticed when I adjust my volume now in GameEx it does nothing before you could see a visual bars when you adjust the volume. Now it's not working???

Its always on. I cant see any problems. Could you give a bit more detail?

Before when I pressed on my keyboard the volume control up and down GameEx would display the volume bars on screen and adjust the volume, but now when I press the volume on my keyboard nothing happens in GameEx and it doesn't adjust the volume even thou I tested it on my XP Desktop it works but not in GameEx. I even tried another keyboard and didn't work only outside of xp it works.

Yeah Tom I ran Rhapsody then played a song and then loaded GameEx and tried adjusteing the volume on my keyboard and it adjusted the volume of Rhapsody, but not the volume in GameEx at all????

Strange .....

I think this is in the FAQ, but I dont think the proper volume keys work when using direct input/custom controls in GameEx. If you say it used to work then I guess this has got turned on.

You are correct Tom I just checked that and it was On so I turned it off and it works again. Thanks for pointing that out as I forgot about that.

Is there an option in GameEx to enable and disable the volume display? For some reason mine has disappeared when I adjust my volume on my keyboard up and down. About 6 months ago it worked then one day I noticed it doesn't display anymore :huh:

I don't think there is, but I'll defer to Drac. He'd know better, especially since he spent a good amount of time on it and tweaked this on his new theme.

What's even worse is that a Ultimate GameEx Guru should have tried that. :P

Search is the most underused feature of these forums. I just don't get it. :blink:

I use the search button all the time, but I actually call it something else... The Freq button!!! LOL!!

Even us Ultimate GameEx Gurus aren't perfect and sometimes forgetful (maybe more then some :lol:). Always nice to point out the errors of our ways fReq. Nothing gets past you my friend.;)

Maybe someday I'll quit asking the same ?'s over and over :P, but at least you'll have an answer for me and pick me up when I fall down.:)

I'm sweating my butt off today as it Hot down here in Socal today! Left work early today as the heat was getting to me almost passed out while driving which is never a good thing. Got the bosses truck and his doesn't have the A/C working. Need to get my work truck fixed soon!! Now the wife isn't feeling good. Turned the A/C on in the bedroom to cool us down tonight. Been Hot and Humid out here the last few days.

Maybe that's why I'm so out of it today :P
