[RESOLVED] Can't get mame to have its own page

Srated GameEx this morning, and the update changed my view again to thumbs. While fixing that, I messed up and now Mame no longer has its own page. Everything is bunched together on the start page. I've played with it now for about an hour and still can't figure out what is changed.

Open the Custom Menus application and make sure the Enable Custom Menus check box is checked.

Have never had to mess with the menu editor before. I checked and it was not checked. I checked it and mame is back the way it should be. But I don'y have emulated games, favorites, multimedia etc. Before the update I had it exactly like your screen shot of your Space Invaders theme. And I'm use that theme.

OK, uncheck Custom Menus ENabled in the Custom Menus app, then open Setup Wizard and verify if "Put MAME on Start Page" is enabled in the Advanced MAME settings "Menu Under Games."

I'm sorry Draco, I can't find that setting. I've gone thru the menu a number of times and even did a search.

Thanks fRequEnCy

Box was checked. I unchecked it. Got out of the setup wizard. Reopened it , rechecked the box and now works ??.

It's possible that something did not write correctly to the gameex.ini when the update occurred.

Sounds resolved to me so I'll mark it as such. Good work boys!
