Hi! :)

I have remapped with the Ahk2Exe program (script to exe converter) the esc key with the f6 key in all emulators in my cab. Then now for exit from a started game I will press f6 not esc.

The script is:

esc::f6

f6::esc

After a series of attempts, I have noticed that the epsxe emulator doesnâ??t accept this type of modification...

From gameex I can start 3 or 4 games without difficulty, the next times the game seems to start, on the contrary gameex back to the game selectionâ??s screen. When this happens I canâ??t start no game,not even from other emulators and the icons on my desktop are blocked (I canâ??t drag them). I can only restart the windows xp pro for restore things.

I have tried to vary the option in advanced config in:

[Mapping off] Exit (Alt+F4)

[Mapping off] Exit (Esc)

[Mapping off] Exit (Process Close)

But I donâ??t resolve the problem...

Currently I have the 11.74 gameexâ??s version.

Should I create a new mapping off setting f6 exit?

For example: [Mapping off] Exit (F6)

Is it possible this?

What do you recommend?

Thanks!

Tom has made some recent changes with regards to Mappings. You may want to review the NEWS posts and consider updating to the newest version as there have been a great many fixes to GameEx since 11.74!

I was thinking the global exit for one. ;)

Otherwise you can tell GameEx to kill the process using F6 by creating your own custom config for it.

Extract this file to your GameEx > Config > Emulators folder and enable it in the emulator setup.

Or are you trying to remap ESC to the actual F6 key?

If that's the case this config remaps the F6 key to be the ESC key:

That's a registerd version feature so it will not work if you aren't registered.

Thank you! Please Can you create for me these three .ini file:

From F6 to ALT+F4

From F6 to ALT+P

[Mapping off] Exit (ALT+P)

Do these ini files also work with the new gameexâ??s version?

If it doesnâ??t work yet, Iâ??ll try to update gameex to the last version...
