celly Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 After a few years of renting and bettering our credit, the wife and I decided to take advantage of the sloping house prices, us my VA and buy a house. We looked at several houses and made only 1 offer. Now we did some compromises and sacrifices (mainly bedrooms and square footage) to keep the kids in the same school district and me on the same 4 minute commute to work groove. Long story short, we bought a house and today we closed. I rented a U Haul truck and will start to fill it on Monday. The bad news is, I'm taking apart my cabinet so it travels safer (moving 3 blocks down the street but still ). Extremely exciting times for me and I just wanted to share. Quote

Kustom Kid Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Congratulations! Now you can start to plan your mancave and how to get your entire house wired up properly. That's the best part if you ask me. Quote
