WTF? I noticed a couple of profiles have the Command entry missing. I'll send the updates to Tom.

Here is the Dreamcast one I have

nullDC_Win32_Release-NoTrace.exe -config ImageReader:DefaultImage="[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

I had found that one earlier searching the forums,it doesnt work.

think ill just use Demul ;)

Don't do that just yet mesk. I have this emu working and will post my command line tomorrow (Thursday).

I think you also need to set the emulator to auto-run the image

nulldc.cfg

Emulator.AutoStart=1

Thanks guys,I didnt really want to use Demul for dreamcast,as I have heard this is the one system nulldc does better then demul

Hey guys Im still having a issue with this.after putting autostart on in the emulator cfg,gameex launches nulldc,but it doesnt launch the game.it sets the game in the loader,but i still have to click ok.is this the way everyone is doing it?

If you made the change in nulldc.cfg it should skip the dialog box and load the game without confirmation. I will try and load a DC game, it may be that something different may be happening under Windows 7.

A temporary workaround would be to use GameEx's sendkeys option to send "{ENTER}" to automate pressing the OK button.

Please post your emulator config file. Not the one from GameEx but the emulator itself. Sorry but don't recall the name of the file since haven't run this emulator in long time and don't have it setup on my machine. But the ini where you changed the autostart.

It's nulldc.cfg you're looking for.

That's the one! Thank you! I just downloaded the emulator for testing but you had beat me to it.

The following are from memory so they are untested. These are settings that need to be changed from the default.

[nullDC]
Emulator.AutoStart=1
Emulator.NoConsole=1

[nullDC_GUI]
Fullscreen=1

[ImageReader]
LoadDefaultImage=1

Other settings depend on your system and settings. But these should launch cleanly within GameEx fullscreen with the command-line mentioned in the previous posts.

Ahh yes it was Emulator.NoConsole=1 that he needs to fix for the game to launch right away. Excellent work as usual Freq! ;)

Now mesk just needs to do it!

The real important one is LoadDefaultImage=1. Since the command-line is changing the DefaultImage value, it's important to change this setting so that it will load that image that's being passed.

What about

[nullDC_GUI]
AutoHideMenu=1

PS I've updated the download to include these default settings in the nullDC.cfg file.

That as well! It is already on by default though which is why I didn't include it in the post. I only included the settings that needed changes from the default values.

Thanks for including them in the download!

Please review my post! All the suggested settings were not changed. Particularly LoadDefaultImage=1.
