Hi :)

When I start gameex, the arcade ambiance also starts with the tune that I have selected. When I enter in the juke box, the arcade ambiance stops and it doesnâ??t start more.

Is it possible restarts the arcade ambiance when I exit from the juke box or when a juke boxâ??s music finishes? How must I change settings?

(I report current settings in the attachment)

Thank you

HI Unfortunately i have the same problem, posted a while back but no fix for this, its a case of restarting GameEx to get the ambiance back again.

Also why r u using the none supported config editor, you should be using the set up wizard, as arcade ambiance is not a file but a directory now.

What a pity because If it is so I will be forced to remove the jukebox... :(

I currently use the 11.74 version of gameex. This problem has been solved in the gameexâ??s last version?

Thank you

I would definitely recommend upgrading to the latest version of GameEx regardless. We no longer support issues through the use of the Advanced Configuration utility and now support only through the Setup WIzard which is superior and evolving.

The issue to which Simba was referring involves using the arcade ambiance files (for which there are a few available from different sources) by pointing to a directory and randomly selecting from the various files in that directory.

I think that the reason Arcade Ambiance is halted is that, in most cases, the user wants to hear the music selected vs. the ambient sounds of an arcade at the same time. You may wish to go to the Pinned Topics forum and submit a Feature Request to have this added as an option to automatically re-enable Arcade Ambiance once the music has stopped playing in Jukebox (either end of song or by manual stop).

im also having the problem with a few emulators when they exit the arcade ambiance does not always restart so your left with a sound less cab and need to restart GameEx.

Sometime emus mess up the sound. You should hopefully be able to fix this by setting the option to disable sound for the emulator.

Let me know if it does not work.

Also I think if you set the appropriate audio setting for music to stop once the playlist is finished Ambiance should start up again.

If I update to the last version gameex, the previous settings remain saved or I must reconfigure all again?

There are significant changes between the version 11.74 and 11.91?

All configurations should remain and, as always, it doesn't hurt to make a backup of your GameEx.ini file. You will need to make a minor change as previously noted regarding the arcade ambiance file path. There are quite a few changes that have taken place since 11.74, many of which impact the Setup Wizard.
