mesk Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 I know there is a few of you in here that use 360 wireless controllers and you might know about this but if not here is link to M$ xbox 360 wirless status center.basically it enables your 360 controller to work just like it does on a 360 on your pc.i.e. press the guide button for battery status etc...I thought it was pretty cool and its new to mehttp://hotfile.com/dl/25063630/2fae22c/wireless.rar.html Quote
Adultery Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 Ahh haven't seen this before. I'll have to try it when I get my cab back up and running. Quote
Krakerman Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 I have a Microsoft Wireless Reciever for PC and it does that already. Is that what your talking about. As you need that for your PC to recognise the controller and yes pressing the guide button will tell you your battery status If you have the wireless headset as well it will work too with it Quote

As do I. Would have assumed that it was known already for users using wireless 360 controllers. Quote
celly Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 But you do need the Wireless Receiver still right? Quote
Krakerman Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 @celly Yes you need the reciever for your PC to find the controller and headset if you have one of those as well. Quote

Krakerman Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 Nope! But I'm so fast at doing it now that it just come natural doing it that way. Not that big of a deal for me Quote

I think that's the time frame. Other than that then removing the battery is the quickest way. Quote
Adultery Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Don't you use a charger at all? 15 mins of inactivity is perfect imo.Amazing how I never noticed the center button already showed controller stats before! Quote

I think 15 minutes is fine. I would see how that would be a problem for users who use standard batteries but best to get a rechargeable one. Other than taking battery off and on then that's the only way you can have it. I personally don't care to keep taking off and on. With my luck that would wear out the clips and then won't have a controller at all. LOL. Quote
Adultery Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Precisely my thoughts. Plus who knows how long any given gaming session can last, so it's nice to have a full battery everytime you use it. Quote
