Actuall i installed WinXP completly new, SP3, no updates so far, drivers for mainboard (nvidia 520 Chipset), Sound (realtek), GFX (nvidia 8500GT), network (realtek), Mameuifx 0.141, Romset 0.141, Gameex 12.09 and DX9c/.net2 from the Gameex install ... same issue. i am getting NUTS! i try the offical Mame now ... :/ //edit: same problem with the "real" Mame... arghl. Now i got the errorlog from .net in english because of the reinstall: next step could be to test with completly other hardware (intel) to rule the hardware out... greetings, Fabian

  5. hi there, thanks for your reply. Java is not installed on the Mashine and as far as there is no reason to do so, i would apriciate to not install Java I will check the paths as soon as i can and will tell you if it solved my problem. thanks again, great support! i used -listupdate because the error appears every time i update the list, in all other cases i can not 100% reproduce this issue so i took the -listupdate option to enforce the error. greetings, Fabian
  6. Hi there, first of all... GREAT job! GameEx is absolutly awesome! i´am totaly new to GameEx and Mame, i basicly came from the Pinball Community but i got one dedicated Pac-Man Arcade Cabinet and actually i just want to build a universal cab with all the Arcade Classix on it. So i took a old PC (Athlon X2 4000+, 2GB Ram, 320GB HDD, 8500GT Gfx), installed Windows XP SP3, applied all(!) Updates, installed Framework 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0, installed MameUIFX32 0.140 and the lates GameEx 12.09. Everthing works out fine, but i get an error every aprox. 3 Minutes idle. Or sometimes when i just browse thru the gamelist, or just want to start a game. I absolutly can reproduce this when refrshing the Mame Gamelist ... maybe i take a Stopwatch next time and see how long it exactly take until this error show up. It is a framework Window... i can click "weiter" so GameEx will go on without any issue, but it stops until i press that button? How can i solve this Problem or get even rid of this damn Window ... GameEx seems to work fine after i closed that error window. i reinstalled GameEx, no change i looked up for updates @ windows update Page ... no more updates whats next? As i said i can reproduce this when i start Gameex with the -listupdate string... here is an example: Here is a screenshot of the error: -> http://www.kaype.net/temp/gameex_error.jpg The GameEx Log: The Log from the Framework Error Windows (unfortunately in german :/): any ideas? greetings from Germany, Fabian
