Who? Me? How'd I do what?

I've disabled my overlay and still not seeing the weather. It is checked in the theme editor, and Enabled=True in my theme.ini. Is there a minimum size the weather has to be to see it? Can the List text be Right Justified? (i don't think it can) Can I change the size of the MediaControl.png file? Or does it only work with the original size? Any idea when we'll be able to have more control of fonts for all objects?

Hey gang, I've started working on my theme and had a few questions for ya. Somehow I've lost my weather. Any thoughts on what I should check? Also I'm also only seeing one icon (window icon), should I be seeing the home and exit icons? Can I change the colors of the top menu bar and the 'Start' text? Thanks guys! This looks like it's gonna be a nice theme, but I don't think you should be calling this a 'port' of the Confluence XBMC theme since you're not 'Porting' the theme to GameEx, and also doesn't look anything like Confluence. and here is my Confluence based theme for GameEx:

Hey gang, I'm working on a theme for my cab and I had a few questions. Is it possible to disable the Menu, or even just hide it? Also, can the images in the Image Boxes be stretched to fill the whole box? I'd like the images to fill the boxes I have.

Hey gang, The pc in my cab died, so I just finished setting up a new one. I've got everything running again, and re-installed GameEx, but after I exit a game I can see MAME closing, but then I'm just left with a black screen. I can't close it, no alt-tab, no ctl-alt-del, nothing, it's just stuck with the blank screen and doesn't return to the menu. All I can do is reset the computer. I'm using a AVGA card with a fresh install of XP. Any thought as to what could be wrong? Maybe there's something I forgot to install. It's been a while since I had to do a re-install of GameEx, so I hope it's something simple that I've missed. Thanks!

Hey Tom!! I think my theme is, or was a Version 2 theme that I hacked and slashed at. How can I convert it to a v4 theme, or add the second image box to my theme? Also can the video previews be stretched to fill the box?

Hey gang, I'm making some changes to my theme and had a few questions: Is it possible to make the selector bar transparent for items that are not selected? Is it possible to have more than one image/video box? One that would display the preview video, and one for marquees? I'm was playing around with AHK to make it easier to scroll through the letters with the below code. It works, but not 100% as sometimes it won't do anything, or sometimes it will skip pages. Also when using AHK my CapsLock LED flashes. Is this normal? I'd like to see the same thing. I like to keep my menu simple for other people, so I usually have the Info screen disabled, but I wish there was some kind of Shift key to get Into the info page since this also is the only way to add a gave to favorites. I really like the Info screen, but I don't always want to see it for every game I load.

Hey Headkaze! I still can't get your plugin to work with my Prolite sign. I used a port monitor and the info is being sent, but nothing is showing up on my sign. Right now I'm using text files I've created for each game name that gets sent to the sign, which works fine, but I'd really like to get your plugin working. Would it have anything to do with the plugin showing 9600,n,8,1, but my sign being only 300,n,8,1? I've changed the settings for the com port in windows to 300, and changed the INI file to 300, but still no luck. Is there anything else I can try? Thanks bud!

Hey guys, I'll post a bunch of pics in the other cabinet thread, but for now here's a few more pics For the LED sign over the cab I wrote a short little file to create my custom text files to display the game, and some other messages. I could never get Headkaze's plugin working with my Prolite. You just plug it into a serial port and copy the text file to the sign. I have some more pictures here, and some videos here of my other LED sign.

Hey gang, Just wanted to check in on this again. I've disable my Game Info screen as I like just starting the game from the list, but I really miss the Add to Favorites. Is there any way to add games with a shift key, or maybe an option to hold down the start button for 3 seconds to add a game to the favorites? Is there any way for me to be able to easily add games to my favorites without the Game Info Screen? Thanks again! Here's a pic of my cab

Hey gang! Is there a way for me to add a list like the 'Lightgun', 'Trackball' and 'Dial/Spinner' lists that I could add for 270 driving games? I really like using the 'Lightgun' option from the main list, but I'd really like to add one to jump to all 270 driving games. Thanks!!

Hey gang, Two little questions for you... 1.) I'm trying to use my snaps as backgrounds, but some themes it works, some it doesn't. I have it setup in the config to "Use Game/Item Images as backgrounds, but the theme I'm using isn't showing them. Is there something in the Theme.ini I can check or change? Or does this only work in V1 themes? B.) Is there anyway to get rid of the Select Line texts? (SelectLine1 and SelectLine2) Thanks again for the help!

I'm running GameEx on my arcade cab, so I have to run at 640x480. I have an ArcadeVGA card which is setup to run the games at the best resolution for the card, so I don`t think this is the problem. My INI file looks fine.

It's me again! Lately GameEx has been crashing back to the desktop after returning from a game. I can't see it running on the screen, or ALT+TAB to get it back or anything, but the Task Manager says it's still running. I can't restart GameEx until I kill it from the Task Manager first. Hey gang! Is there a way to disable the game info screen that you get when you select a game from the list? The screen that has Play This Game, and Add To Favorites and the game information. Sometimes it's fun to read up on the game, but for now I'd like to start the game right from the list and not have to go into the second screen. Thanks!!
