  1. Someone else posted the below: I have the same problem, but it did work in some previous versions.. Can't say what version that was, because i updated to 6.36.. I too get the desktop with some icons on exiting daphne , and need to use alt-f4 to get control back, or sometimes i can use alt-tab to get back into gameex. I think it's because of the command used to launch daphne: Running: command.com /c D: D:\roms\daphne\Daphne.exe lair vldp -fullscreen -x 640 -y 480 -nohwaccel -framefile d:\roms\daphne\mpeg\lair\lair.txt Now, funny thing is, sometimes, it does seem to exit correctly.. but doesn't kill daphne, and when i run another lasergame, it's slowed down and has crappy video playback, since there is now two daphne processes running. Anyway, since Win98 needs to use start /wait for most other things i guess we would need an option 'use start /wait' or similar in the Daphne menu. Can this be added ? Thanks! - Alex Whoeps, my bad, the screenshot for daphne looks almost the same
  2. Blades of Steel, 3 buttons. 4 Buttons: Rotary games where you use button 1 and 4 to turn, 2 and 3 to shoot/bomb ?
  3. Confirmed. GameEx is indeed typing O K O K O K (go and define a key after mame starts to see this.) I think GameEx dumps this in the keyboardbuffer. It was not always like this, my other cab with older version doesn't do this. I think older GameEx sends --skipdisclaimer or similar.. It's not needed since i used buddamame. Long story. I thought my new JPAC had a bug. I went over all cabling an hour long in my cab.. Then i read this. Swapped JPAC with older version seems to make a difference. Different buffer perhaps. Yes, there is an option to enable/disable disclaimer(s) i think. Haven't tried it yet because it's late and i'm going to bed
  4. I run mine on 98SE with no problems. It's a vertical Mame machine only. I like 98 because of the small OS footprint. XP and 2000 take up around 200 mb doing 'nothing'..
  5. Thank you for the heads up Works perfectly now! - Alex
  6. Hiya, Anybody have a clue how to do this ? When GameEx is in vertical mode, it doesn't show the horizontal games in the list.. I tried to run some (rare) examples, that use 256x256 like Xain d'sleena and Double dragon, both look decent on 256x256 (when i launch them outside GameEx, in a DOS box.. ) Is there some option i am missing ? - Alex
