ok you guys are really gonna think i am dumb (wouldnt be the first time someone accused me of this, but i digress) i in fact have two copies of gameex running...when i quickly check before i do hae a perfectly good gameex version 11.33 with youtube support etc in my c:/gameex folder i also have one in the program files/gameex subdirectory...this one is in fact where the shortcut goes to...i was somewhat obtuse on this as the DA version automatically loads anyways now i am unsure what to do as i would like to use the 11.33 version without having to reconfigure everthing what would you suggest i do going forward from here...perhaps i should use the uninstall feature of the 11.33 and then reinstall in the c:/program files/gameex directroy... if i do this though will this kill the never ending update thanks so much time for the attention and answers

In my case the gameex is installed in the main c root directory. It is not installed in the program . The software seems to work fine except I must hit backspace without hitting anything else or it will try to update over and over. Thanks in advance.

Ok I downloaded and installed 11.33 (I think). It went thru the install menu and looked like it was installing. Yet when I enter into Gameex again it is asking to update still How do i determine if it went to version 11.33. Is there an "about" feature that will tell me? Additionally I would post another log file but it appears to be the same as before so I am not sure that my problem is solved I can hit the backspace button to trick gameex into not asking for updating "hit back to cancel", but it keeps thinking something needs to be done. Thanks.

will this alter my dreamauthentics version and emulator settings?

I have gameex purchase thru dreamauthentics...the software seems to work fine, but i would like to update to a more recent version. My log file looks like i have 11.25, but every time the software starts it asks to download a new version. Apparently it does this and looks like it is intalling correctly, but then goes back to gameex and asks to download a new version. This keeps going and going, and never stops. If i hit the backspace button to get out i van use gameex normally. I have posted my most recent log below, but dont know if this is reflective of the current problems or not as it is not really crashing gameex, It looks like the log is from several weeks ago, but i dont know how to post an updated log or have gameex generate a new one. I would love to update to the newer version with youtube supprt but dont know aht to do next. Thanks in advance. When u uninstalled and reinstalled your dreamauthentics version did it keep the settings that dreamauthentics had factory configured?
