  1. ]It seems that there might be a bug with GameEx or just something to with me (as it usually is). Anyways, it seems that it can't fine Video/Artwork files for anything that ends in a . (period) Example: Super Smash Bros. It just gives me a blank page for anything that has a period at the end. Anyone else notice this?
  2. I will try that command line out, and give it a try, also no, where do I get this Free Card? I really do like it, as it shows what I'm playing ATM I can't get that command line to work at all, it just gives me a black screen then goes back to GameEx, did you place something wrong in the line?
  3. It seems to be the only way GameEx will want to launch them is through a Mount, how can I just tell it to launch the game without having GameEx mounting it and trying to use the RUN CD-ROM command? Also, I seemed to have tricked it, I changed the .img files to .iso myself to trick the mounting issues and now it works. So if you know a better way of setting it up Mesk, let me know please. Thanks for your help. Also on a side note, how do you setup that GameEx Sig. I've been gone for sometime and it looks like a great way for me to help get some people here (unless this sig only works on this forum).
  4. It seems that ePSXe just doesn't want to read the Virtual Drive at all, I've tried different plugins and what not, if I run the newly created .bin/.cue files directly they work, if I mount them in the Virtual Drive, it does nothing but give a black screen.
  5. Yep, I created the .iso's myself from my Disc's but I will give the bin/cue thing a try, I did use MagicISO too.
  6. Yep, I did so with that, and it seems Virtual Clone Drive thinks it does, as it recognizes it and keeps wanting to control the file type. I tested both types with still nothing. I usually use .iso anyways but I have older ones I made in .img I'm going to try something and see if this is the reason, I will report back shortly. EDIT: This is the weirdest thing I have ever seen. If I run the .iso file straight from the Emulator, it doesn't load, nor does saying run from CD-ROM, but if I run the .img files, those work...I have no idea why...
  7. I'm using the default as I said. Nothing is changed so what GameEx has set for default info and what ePSXe has is what it's set to, nothing is changed. The images are being loaded through .iso and .img files under the ROM folder. GameEx sees them just when I launch them, it seems either GameEx isn't sending the info to the Emulator or the Emulator is just not knowing what to do with it. I think the default command-line is ePSXe.exe- nogui[virtualdrive] I think that's what it was set to.
  8. I seem to be having this weird issue with GameEx wanting to launch the games for my PSX. When I launch a game, I get a black screen with the controller up in the right corner indicating that the emulator is working but then nothing happens. If I launch the emulator alone and then launch the games, it loads up just fine, it's just that GameEx launching the titles wont do anything. I'm using ePSXe 1.70 with everything set to the default settings. Is there something I'm missing? Windows 7 x64
  9. Yeah, I see the point for MAME due to set issues but more for like others. List of Emulators needing updates (Words in Bold are more important ones.) 10. I was wondering, will the Wizard get updated at anytime with the new versions of the Emulators? I do like the ability to download it straight from the Setup screen without having to go and update it myself, but now some of the Emulator are out of date (MAME being the main one). Also would it ever support new Emulators like the PS2 one and so on?

    I'm Back

I'm a sort of a new member here, I've been watching over every now and then but I just finally got set back up with GameEx and hope to see this keep on improving. So what have I missed out on, the last time I updated I think was probably 6-8 months ago due to computer issues.
  13. Sounds to me like you might actually be having a Sound Driver issue or either a CodeC is missing. Most sound cards today are Realtek's so if update to the latest version if you have it, if not look for your sound card drivers. http://www.realtek.com/downloads/downloadsCheck.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false Next if there is still no luck is try to update to the latest CodeC pack. One of the best packed ones is K-Lite Pack. http://www.codecguide.com/index.html Make sure if you are running a 64bit OS to get both 64 and the regular pack. Please report back if still no luck.
  14. Thanks for the help, that worked, was just locating it to the wrong area.
  15. I have videos downloaded with the same name from EmuMovies and they are not playing on the side at all. I have them placed in the C:\Vidoes with the same names but nothing is showing up. I have K-Lite Kit installed (comes with FFDShow CodeC) and it is still not playing a video. Any help? Also the video files are in .avi format
  16. Nice work keep it up.
  17. I got it up and working, problem was they need to be named the same. Just that most were abbreviated so it caused them not to match up.
  18. I am new with GameEx and I am really enjoying this and will hope to make a purchase of this really soon. Anyways, I was wounder if it's possible to make or use Icons for other Emulators like NES or Sega Gen for the games as it does have a place to place Box Arts and all the other stuff like MAME has. I did try it but nothing seemed to show unless I am doing something wrong. Anyways if this is possible to do it would be awesome. Thanks.
