  1. Guys, probably a real dumb question but I've just started downloading video packs for my emulators. I just downloaded the sega model 2 vids but have no idea as to where to put the video files (flv format) I can see the option for the other emulators such as nintendo64 for example but sega model 2 settings are in the advanced mame part of the setup! Please help a real noob to all this Many Thanks!
  2. The same thing happened to me twice in the past week. I thought it was down to my son switching my machine off via the plug on the wall while gameex was running! . My gameex.ini file became an empty file
  3. Thanks Tempest Worked Fantastic !!!!!!!!!!!!!
  4. Cheers tempest , i'll certainly ignore AVG. Can you just confirm which emulator i need to download in the setup because im pretty certain that when i downloaded nebula, there was no "emulator_multicpu.EXE" file included. Thanks for the help !
  5. Hi all I've *************** Sega Model 2 Roms and my problem is this :- Being a noob with setting up emulators I generally use the start up wizard to download the emulators for a specific system, however there doesn't seem to be one for the model 2. I have seen references in the forum to Nebula but when i used setup to download it, my AVG reported a virus in the nebula.exe file so i quit there. The emulator **************** was called "emulator_multicpu.EXE" and this woked fine. Does anyone else play sega model 2 games and if so, can they point me in the right direction as to which emulator to use and basically how to incorperate it into my gameex Many Thanks PS. One more thing guys, Is there a setting which allows random game selection to be specific to a user defined system as opposed to a game from any system ?
  6. Cheers Tom , I thought it was something I was doing
  7. I am experiencing a really strange problem when using the jukebox. I have a library of about 9000 songs in my media player and all of these are present when I access the gameex jukebox, however when I create a playlist in media player for different type of albums eg. 3 of my favourite albums I go into jukebox, find the playlist by name but when i view the tracks within that playlist, they are the wrong songs by name and the song itself is wrong. Basically if I compile a playlist of say 40 tracks in media player and call the playlist (TEST) I then open (TEST) within Gameex and the playlist shows the first 40 tracks (in an A-Z fashion) of the 9000 songs available (IE the first 40 that would play if all music were selected. This also happens with different playlists i have created (IE if the playlist has 100 tracks then the first 100 tracks of the 9000 would be visible) Am I missing something obvious ? I love my music and I love my CAB , please help !!! PS My gameex is the latest version and is a registered version. Many Thanks
  8. I'll give it a try, I was a bit scared that re-installing would mess up my configs Cheers
  9. Hi everyone . This is my first question here so please excuse me being a total nooby . When I first installed gameex i'm pretty sure I noticed provision to install a virtual drive app, which at the time i chose not to do. I then proceeded to set up a few emulators and got them working fine after a bit of work. I then registered the software the following day. I have since recieved some roms from a mate of mine for PC-Engine and noticed the ISO format. I would like to use these direct from my roms folder but dont have the virtual drive part of gameex installed. My questions are this :- If i start setting up an emulator for PC-Engine will gameex automatically mount the ISO files ? If not then how do I incorporate the virtual drive thing ? What is the best emulator to install for pc-engine ? Thanks guys
