  1. Ok, I used the MergeSets setting and it's working now. It's a little cryptic but I get what this setting does now. Shouldn't have any trouble with the rest of the emus. Thanks!
  2. Sure. Here is the setup for the particular emulator in question (although I'd like to set up additional emulators similarly). [Emulator_15] Enabled=True System=Nintendo NES Category=Console Emulator=Mednafen Version=0.8.c Rating= DownloadUrl=http://www.gamesdbase.com/setupwizard/emulators/download/mednafen.7z RequiredFiles= Website=http://mednafen.sourceforge.net/ Info=Atari Lynx, GameBoy (Color), GameBoy Advance, NES, PC Engine(TurboGrafx 16), SuperGrafx, Neo Geo Pocket (Color), PC-FX, and WonderSwan (Color) emulator TitleText=Nintendo NES StartPageName=[Console] Nintendo NES (mednafen) StartPageLogo=Nintendo NES Command=mednafen.exe -fs 1 "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" RomFilter= Database=[Console] Nintendo NES ConfigFile=[Mapping Off] Exit (Process Close) MapFile= RomPath=C:\Roms\Nintendo NES\Roms SnapPath=C:\Assets\Nintendo NES\Snaps TitlePath=C:\Assets\Nintendo NES\Titles BoxPath=C:\Assets\Nintendo NES\Boxes CartPath=C:\Assets\Nintendo NES\Cartridges ManualPath=C:\Assets\Nintendo NES\Manuals ControlPanelPath=C:\Assets\Nintendo NES\Controls WorkingPath=C:\Emulators\Mednafen MapKeys=True WaitBeforeKeys= SendKeys= ReplaceDash=False ReplaceUnder=True Capitals=False RemoveBrackets=True ShowDesktop=True Debug=False AlsoLaunch= OLDatZip= LaunchBefore= LaunchAfter= ExcludedFiles= CustomBackground= PlayMusic=False DontShowInfo= PlaySelectionMusic=False SelectionMusicFolder= PCGame=False GamesIn7Zips=False PlayInScreenSaver=False ShowMostPlayed=True RandomMostPlayed=True CDCheck=False CDCheckFile= RomsInFolders= InstructionsPath= UseDbName= MergeSets= CustomArtName1= CustomArtPath1= CustomArtName2= CustomArtPath2= CustomArtName3= CustomArtPath3= EDIT: I tried deleting that map file which helped. Now it shows the correct number of games.
  3. So I registered the software but I'm still not seeing the region or even the full title information like it shows in the screen shot on the other thread. I assume there is a setting or config file that can be edited to enable this? Any suggestions? Also, I removed a lot of ROMs from one directory since there were some pointless alternate dumps and such, but GameEx still shows the same number of games available despite the fact that they are no longer in the directory. Any idea how to refresh this? (Note: I did read the FAQ and look through the options but I did not see anything related to these issues)
  4. Ah, very nice. Looks like registering may be in order then. Thank you very much for answering my question and pointing me toward examples.
  5. Hey. Using GameEx mostly for console emulation. It's a cool frontend but it's hard to distinguish between J or U games etc.. Is there a way to display region information when you are selecting games?
