Hi Brian, I was busy a few days to review my configuration. What I wanted to have as combos for ESC key were the default one (2+4) and the one above: Custom shifted key 2+RightShift = ESC However this is still a temp configuration so I am not sure I will need to change RightShift in the near future. This because I am forced to use two different X-Arcade configs, and I wanted to have the same buttons combo for ESC key regardless on which X-Arcade config I am using. However I also realized that this is not "mandatory", so I definitively don't want to waste Tom's time, unless he wants to work on a full user customizable function for shifted keys, because my actual config is not yet "complete" and it can change in the future. Thanks however. PS: I have noticed is that when you begin a game while in Screensaver mode, then the default shifted key for ESC does no longer work and you have to press ESC on keyboard to exit from the screensaver mode.

Hi Brian, thanks for your answer. Remapping X-Arcade is what i did first. What I tried is to remap key 4 to another button instead of right flipper, and when I use this config I have to press the new button and 2Player in order to exit whitin GameEx. I know for sure that X-Arcade cannot do "shifted keys", in other word each button of the X-Arcade can only perform one key press. This come from one guy from X-Arcade support (I asked X-Arcade support before posting here). I am really interested to what you said first: keys 2 and 4 at the same time will send the ESC key inside GameEx. You call this "shifted key". What I need is to have keys 2 and another key at the same time to send ESC key inside GameEX. Before using an AHK script (that probably will definitively solve my issue) I just want to understand if I can change the default "shifted key" inside GameEx, or maybe create other without using 3rd party (AHK) software. I think this could be a very interesting function for a software like GameEx, especially for people that use cabinets with a limited number of buttons.

Hi Everyone, trying to use Gameex (great product) with my X-Arcade, but need a hand on the config. I read in "default controls" webpage that in order to exit from a game using X-Arcade you will have to press Coin2 and RightFlipper together (keyboard keys 2 and 4 in the real world), and it is working ok. My first question is: where I can change one (or both) of the above keys in order to exit a game via X-Arcade? Example: I would like to use Coin2 (keyboard 2) and another key button instead of keyboard 4 to exit. I'm asking here because my understanding is that this is a Gameex combo, because assigning the keyboard key 4 to another button of the X-Arcade, then I have to press that button and Coin2 to exit from emulators. Please note that I'm not a MAME-only users, I could fix this assigning the desired combo to "cancel" User interface command inside MAME, but it would apply correctly to MAME but of course not on other games/emulators where I need the combo working. My second question is: is there a way to add other key combos on Gameex? I see another combo is Coin1 and Left Flipper (Tab key), I just want to understand if I can change it and/or create others. Any help appreciated, thanks!!
