  1. Well I only got that error once. Everything else in Gamex works great....but most of the time when I try to play DVD's the screen goes black for a second... then bumps back to the multimedia menu. It appears that the system is not even accessing the DVD drive. It's a bit annoying becauuse the DVD function is most important to me. (best zoom function I have come across. =). I used to be able to play DVD's fine. The problem occured when I got a virus and formatted. Thankfully, I was able to salvage my setup (for roms ect) .... After format, I copied the Gameex folder to c:\program files....then to be safe I reinstalled over the top, as I new it would keep my config. Worked fine for roms ect..exepct now DVD's wont play. I checked the gameex.ini for DVD....and found DVDpath=G:, but I dont even have a G:.....I changed that to E:, my DVD rom but with no luck. I tried FFDSHOW, VMR, and CODEC using setup wizrd and advanced setup.....and I think VMR and FFD are now on but the vlaue for Codec = 0 ....should this = the name of the decoder? Tim.
  2. GameEx.zip Here Tis.

You put it in c:\gamex\fileswithoutaname It may very well add to the experience...however it all depends on what that experience is. P.S You may need to create the above directory.
  5. Is the screenshot taker still in this program....i read it has been removed, I really could use it for my psx iso's (600+)

    help with psx

I am sortof halfway noob....I used to be really techy but now I am getting older. However making a batch file was easy enough...took me back to the good old days. After stuffing around with mamewah this all seems too easy =).

    help with psx

Yeah I was having the same problem myself, fixed now thanks to this proggy. Cheers.....my htpc/cabinet is nearly done!!!! (after 5 months!!!) All I have left ot do is go through all 600 psx iso's and create epsxecutor configs for them =)
  8. This is an undeniable plug for this program, I am sure you all know already, but after months of struggling along with mamewah, playing and testing games, taking screenshots.... I have spent just a few hours with this program and all I can say is WOW!.... Thankyou so much, I will be donating shortly. Again - THANKYOU!
  9. Oh, btw.....if I use zoomed it is pretty much perfect but I lose a little bit off each side...wnough to make it not worth it though.
  10. Like you Tom, I have a widescreen projector.... As you are aware there are I believe non-anamorphic DVD's that have the black bars built into the picture, although your zoom improves the situation(16:9 stretched). I still get smaller black bars. Is it possible to alter these zoom ratios or add in your own custom zooms?' Or is this something you might look at in the future? Perhaps even if you know a workaround...I guess you do not see black bars? Is this to do with resolution?
