Thanks for trying to help, Mike. Turns out the problem wasn't so much with PinballX. For some reason cabinet mode was deactivated and that also took away the ability to launch directly to a table. I didn't notice right away because I hadn't bothered to check that box in table manager that turns off the backglass when I'm playing a table for a lot of tables. I nevere bothered because normally the PinballX backglass got covered up by the FX3 backglass while I played anyway. That made it not so obvious that cabinet mode wasn't active though - I still saw that there was backglass up. When I tried playing a table without using Pinball X it was obvious right away - no backglass or DMD. Found my code to enable cabinet mode, entered it again, and now everything is fine. Mystery solved.

Three screen cabinet. No add ons. Pretty basic configuration, I think. Just had this problem appear tonight. Everything was fine last night. Frustrating and perplexing. No changes were made to settings. I made sure to update to the latest version of PinballX. Anyone else have this problem? It just started today. It's hard to narrow down what the cause is because I didn't do anything with the settings. Could Steam or Pinball FX3 have made a change so that tables don't launch like they used to? Then it would be happening to everyone, I would think, unless they knew how to fix the settings to get it working. Everything else seems to be working normally. FX 3 will start, but it won't go directly to the table I chose. i can quit normally. edit: Thought I should add that Visual Pinball is working. It's only FX3 that's doing this.
