  1. Thanks for the help, ill get back to you on the version, its not mame32 or UI, just normal mame - ill check out the multikeyboard things as well thanks alot!
  2. Hi guys, Ive been using gameex happily its all working fine, but the only problem im having with it is any game that has the "press ok or left then right" on the joystick i can not get past it without using a keyboard! all the buttons work fine in game for left right, up down etc for both joysticks. ive checked mame for all the settings of the buttons, they are all set for left = key left etc etc rahter than keypad 6 i've also taken a look in the settings for gameex's custominput file and it all seems to be setup correctly I dont know where to turn next, is there something im over looking or can someone advise how to add an "ok" button shortcut for these games such as buttons 5+6 on player 1's controls? Hope that makes sence Thanks! Zac
  3. Thanks for the info guys, i have a full romlist, but no idea what the rom set it is, could be that they are all random roms :s anyway, might have to get a new set, but first of all ill try the cmdline version i just got the latest from mamdev so ill check it out tonight, like i said it seamed to play all the games i through at it where mame32 didnt! thanks again!
  4. Hi guys, im new to this and currently half way into building a cab. i started up gameex last night and saw that while there is a bunch of working games, alot of games arent there!?!? for example some of the newer fighting games, marvel, xmen vs etc etc they seem to working using mame, mame32xf (or something, sorry im at work, dont have the version with me) and not in mame32 or in gameex that is running mame32.1.09 or something older like that just wondering which mame program you all run that seams to run most of the games? thanks ps: please delete if this is un-acceptable, wasnt sure how/where to ask this kind of thing
  5. Hey guys, thanks for such a great program man, its great and i think i will end up purhcasing the full version once my cab is completed. but for now, im still in the building stage and testing. anyways: is it possible to change the volume for the video snaps? itd be nice to have it at low volume so it doesnt overpower the music - I've ended up turning of the snap volume completly thanks zac

  7. Hi guys, here is my setup, it hasnet been compelted yet and am still in testing stage, and just started freaking out when i thought... "i dont have an exit button" BYO arcade control (2 joys) 20 buttons total i have these set up P1 - Start P1 - coin (p2b8 8) p2 - Start p2 - coin (p2b8 8) p1 - buttons 1-6 p2 - buttons 1-6 so there are 4 buttons left over, p1b7 and p2b7 and p1PB and p2 PB (think i need this for exit combo) I think... (think), that the x-arcade is set to use the p2start and p2 PB buttons to exit mame/emulaters etc my question is, how can i map mame/project64/snes etc to exit a game and go back to gameex? will it work with the button combo above? can i map/wire this to a single pushbutton? any input is welcome, i will have to do some testing during the week Thanks
