I'll answer my own question (thus far)… I was pointing the avi snaps folder to my mp4 videosnaps folder (mp4 is the default in newer releases I guess). Seems to be working (at least I can launch games. Lots more configuration to do, but I'm getting closer. I'm not going crazy anymore

Here's the crash just by sitting there. This one says: "Attempting to load game list" and freezes log.txt

Thanks. I got farther and it went to screensaver, but as soon as I make a selection on menu it freezes. Sometimes it freezes by just scrolling

Hmm... Still crashing. I was able to quickly select update games and then it stopped responding as usual. log.txt GameEx.ini

Thanks for responding so quickly. I upgraded and Zinc was still disabled, so not sure if the setting is not taking. It loaded and then just froze again without me selecting anything. EDIT: realized that Zinc was enabled somewhere else. Disabled again... testing log.txt GameEx.ini

I'm going crazy. I keep trying to setup the GameEX AE and sometimes I get farther, but I always lock the system... when it does, I can't do anything but log out (can't quite the app and Alt-Tab doesn't let me select any other processes or even task manager to kill the app). This is under latest W10. I can't see what's going on from the logs... It just sits there and I can't see if anything is happening.
