  1. I already had "always allow input" checked. While looking at that, I changed the input driver to DirectInput and added a 1000ms to Wait to send keys in GameEx and it went fullscreen. Still has issued though. Bsnes will be fullscreen, but any open windows will appear on top of it. The mouse cursor shows up on top as well. No big deal though. Thanks for your help once again fRequEnCy.

  3. I am using v075 performance core x64 compiled by King Of Chaos from the bsnes forums. Games seem to run error free on that version. The runitgame.bat loads the emulator and the game runs fine, just not in fullscreen. If I leave an explorer window open when I start GameEx, I end up with explorer fullscreen and bsnes windowed. The key gets sent to explorer instead of bsnes for some reason. bsnes seems to have focus because when I hit F11 manually, it goes to fullscreen.
  4. I am trying to send the F11 key to go fullscreen in the bsnes emulator. For some reason when I send {F11}, bsnes does not see it. I had windows explorer open and it went fullscreen instead. Is there an easy explanation why bsnes would not see the key and windows explorer would? I can send keys to other emulators with no issues. I used the wait to send keys with no luck either.
  5. Yeah, multiple snap paths is what I'm looking for. If you have already requested it then I'll leave it at that and wait patiently. I want gameex to show a snap picture when video is not available and I don't think I can do that using a custom art path for snaps. Am I wrong? Anyways I can just put both video and pics in the same folder and get the result I wanted. Just a little hassle when trying to update video snaps through the emumovies downloader program. Thanks.
  6. Is it possible now or maybe in a future update to have the snaps and video snaps stored in different folders? I need them in separate folders to use the EmuMovies Download Service Utility update feature, plus I'm a HDD neat freak and don't like having the pics and videos in one folder.
  7. I used Direct3D and bilinear filtering. Under the advances tab I used the effect "Scanlines75x2_j4". I think the effect makes the image look more like an old crt monitor. I also have triple buffering and sync to monitor checked. This worked for me but try selecting different effects see what looks good on your tv. I am using a 22" monitor, might be different on a 50" plasma.
  8. You can set the resolution in the display settings of Mame32ui. If you tv is 1080p then you should use 1920x1080. All games will be stretched to this resolution. You can also check an Enforce Aspect Ratio box. With that off, it will stretch the game to fill the entire screen. Turn it on and you will get black bars on the sides, but it looks more authentic.
  9. Awesome explanation! You were right about the bsnes-performance.dll in the process list. I read on the bsnes forums that you can rename bsnes-performance.dll to bsnes-performance.exe and run it directly in performance mode. When you do this it shows up as bsnes-performance.exe in the process list. I did this and used the commandline bsnes-performance.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" Like you said, I had to switch ShowDesktop=True Everything works perfectly now! Anyways, thanks for your help fRequEnCy. Much appreciated.
  10. Tried ShowDesktop - False, nothing changed. Any other thoughts? I'd sure like to get bsnes working in gameex. I find it to be the most accurate snes emulator for both visuals and sound by far. It would be tough for me to go back to zsnes or snes9x. Thanks for the reply
  11. The "runitgame.bat" file works properly outside of gameex. I have tried to launch in windowed and fullscreen with the same result. Gameex loads the correct game, it will display for a second, and then returns to gameex. The emulator continues to run in the background.
  12. I am having trouble getting bsnes to launch correctly. When I launch a game, focus returns to gameex but I can still hear the emulator running in the background. I can quit gameex and bsnes is still running. It seems that gameex is not recognizing that the emulator launched. Any ideas? 13. Nevermind, figured it out. I had to change the MAME UI cancel button to the one I had free. This quits the game and returns to GameEx. Also in the GameEx Advanced Config I had to remap the escape key to the one I had free.
  14. Can I use another keyboard key, other than escape, to exit emulators and mame? I know you can use a joystick button combo for the emulators, but I would like to use a keyboard button. Just to explain a little better I have a cabinet with a x-arcade tankstick as the control panel. I would like to assign the game exit button to a free button and have it work in mame and emulated games. Anybody know if there is an option for this in gameex? Thanks.
