Hi, I am able to run and play games by running the Mame32 program from explorer and everything is fine. When I go to MCE2005 and try, I am able to select the game, select "Play This Game" and the screen goes black for about 5 seconds and then returns to the "Play This Game / View Controls" screen. The jukebox music fades out and in during this. Any ideas?

Hi, well I have the Mame games working now if I jsut run them from Windows Explorer (Mame32). In GameEx on MCE2005 I updated the list, etc but when I select a game and select "Play This Game" I just get a black screen. I can click the back button on the remote to the previous page so it isn't hanging my computer. Any video settings I need to know? Im using a GeForce 5500

OK, I had all of my games working properly but with an old MAme version (from 2000 actually). I updated to the latest version and now none of them work. Is there a way to make them work again or do I need to use an older version? I had problems with the older version when using gameex... TIA

Hi, Just loadedGameEx and went to update my list and it hangs: GameEx is updating the MAME game list: Please Wait........ Creating Listinfo.dat (2%) It has been stuck for over 8 hours. I could give you the log file but basically there are no erors and the last line is something similar to "updating c:\mame32\listinfo.dat". I had it working when I had 1 game but since I've moved over all of my game (3 GB worth) it seems to hang at 2%
