hi, i was look for exact the same program as you, and wanted so start coding it. while i was getting some "how to do it" info for coding, i found this nice thread: http://www.autohotkey.com/forum/topic13922.html you'll also find the ready (not from me) coded program in that thread. i've tested it, it works fine for me.

tom, you're the best and the fastest i know. thank you very much. i use it to play qualityless mng files via commandline within a script. there are not much mng player out there, and none i know to control via commandline. thank you.

hi, do you have older versions of you MNGer Player? I'm looking for a version that has disabled the time counter when run in fullscreen, maybe an older version has'nt implemented that. do you know?

thank you tom for uploading. you'll find a readme inside. but if you've any problems, let me know. this config is for bfm fruitmachine emu, ans should start the emulation in fullscreen, centered, and without any button clicking ff there are files missing. bye stx

hi tom, i've seen that you put a model2 feature in the newest release of gameex. that means you don't need my scripts anymore. the problem what the people a talking about, that the script is using the wrong game is something better in my script version. i use an ini file with the coordinates from each game, if anybody has such a problem, he can trimm the coordinates for his resulation and edit the ini file.

i've again tried to change everything, and my problem is solved it was only the 32bit in windows, changed it to 16bit and everything works fine now. i'm so happy, and a big thank you goes to TOKY. it's a very courios problem, because in windows works everything fine, but not in gameex. but from now i've never think about it, it's fixed. :-)

my problem still exists, and i've tried all the different video codecs which were discussed in this board without any success. now i've created a short video file to show what's going on. as you can see, the video starts, flashes up short, then goes to black screen, each time if i press a button like pause (the left green one) or forward (the right yellow one) the video is flashing up again then black. please, i need you help guys. Hi, i'd like too see that GameEx would be updated nearly every week. But what do you think about, to host partial updates from the last 10 versions on the GameEx homepage, so we don't need to download each time the whole 20MB package ,just only the partial updates of about 1MB? And each time GameEx has a new round number like 5.70 or 5.80 and so on, a full one will be released. it'll extremely decrease the traffic amount. any comments ? what do you think about that tom ?

i can only report that gamex playing videos in media menu is not working for me. if it helps to know, the gameex startup video is working correctly.

divx uninstalled ---> ffdshow installed ---> same problem. i don't think that the codec is the problem, bacause in media player it is working fine.

do you have resolved your problem or is your problem still alive ?

i've something similar. i don't have tried any mame videos until now, but i've tried the \media\videos feature , there i have nearly the same fault like you have. if i start a video, it appears very short(about 1/2 sec) and then the screen is going black, each time if i try to control the movie, like "pause" or "forward" or "rewind" i'll see the movie again for about half a sec. then screen is black again. movies in normal windows system with media player are playing correctly. i think there must be a problem with an overlay of gameex maybe handeld other by our systems or graphiccards. also tried to upgrade to newest drivers, nothing works better. i don't have an idea anymore.

hi, i've the same . i think there are missing a lot of games, but i'm not sure if it's ok or not. but let's check it together. lets make the same options, and then check the exact number of games shown in gameex. i also have 0.104. gameex config looks like this: only working gamex - yes allow imperfect games - yes verify roms - no only existing roms - yes use game filters - no no adult games - gimme porn no mahjong games - gimme mahjong no clones - i dont want clones no clones - no clones unless better my number of games shown in gameex is: 2672

thank you for your answer. i think you have problems with your divx codec, try to reinstall oder try to use another codec. to my problem, does anyone have an idea? please guys, i need some infos. i've already tried all my ideas, but without luck.

hi, it is also possible to translate the main menu, but you will not find the text in the usual language file. take a look in the "GameEx.ini" and search for the text you need like "most played" or "weather" and change to whatever you want.

hi, i can tell you all i know. i hope that i don't tell you some wrong information. i my case all the configs were kept, but it's still better to make a backup before. when you make donation you will receive a license file for gameex and this will work for future versions too.

the same happens to me about 2-3 times within the last days. in my case it reboots when coming back to gameex from daphne. if it appears more often, i'll try to search what happens

problem exists also in new version 5.70. i know it could not be very much, but i can't find the problem. i i hold one pause or forward button pressed i can see fashing sequences of the movie, the screen is always getting black after i release the button. please help.
