you know what? ive had a similar problem for a while now except i get the black screen when i play bot games and videos. everything works fine until a video plays but then after the video plays i cant see the games anymore and have a black screen until another video plays. if its set to just videos or just games its all good. my solution was to set it to just games and every once in a while i set it to just videos lol

i think the mame reason is want it is so i can brag about having my name on the 7-10 split club in world class bowling lol. seriously though the only other person ive seen pull it off was 6 yr old step daughter who got LUCKY!! she actually was the first to get her name on my cab for the split.. gave me something to shoot for lol. i feel like this will add a real arcade feel for our cabinets ..mame reason lol. ive got mame burned into my brain

ive been using gameex for a looong time now. as a matter of fact the last frontend i used before ex was mamewah lol. anyway ive had a dream for a while about a live score board so other gameex user can compete. i realize this is not as easy as it sounds and anyone using it would need a custom compiled version of mame(i assume most of you use one anyway). so how hard would this actually be?

Well after my step daughter (6yr old) made the split I set it up for the 7 10 and then saved state,something she doesnt know anything about lol..anyway after like 20 times of loading I finally made it!

never mind. when i went to the setup wizard from inside the gameex program i noticed it didnt have the quotations. im assuming i cant open setup wizard from the start menu and have the settings save while gameex is runing. by start menu i mean the windows start menu

ive been searching for a fix to this issue of pj64 1.7 not loading the roms and the solution of adding the quotations around [ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE] is not working for me. it just keeps saying "attempt to open failed"

Yes I mean the one I import from the list of emulators didn't work and the rom folder was correct. Sorry Draco I after you posted and I learned where the gameex ini was I figured I try to resolve it myself. It is resolved to my satisfaction but it still confuses me why it all of a sudden stopped working after a year.

ok the only way i could solve the issue was to select a blank spot in config wizard and create a config from scratch as if it were a custom emulator or program

im having trouble getting my psx game list to show up. i had the rom filter set to (.BIN) and it was working. i changed the filter to (.BIN;*.IMG;*.ISO) and now it says no games found even though i see the list of games it wont let me scroll through and choose them. i tried to go back and change the rom filter back and even left it blank but no luck.. i also deleted the emulator from gamex and started fresh but cant get them to sho up no matter what i do. i can mess around with the rom filter and have "no games found" with a list i cant do anything with and "no games found" with no list at all

well problem sloved! i didnt do anything different besides update gamex ex but its all good now

im having an issue with seeing the mnouse cursor when i launch a game in game ex flash arcade. i like to play alot of the games with my ems topgun but gets frustrating getting the game started..once i actually get the game started i can see the cursor fine. things i have done: i got rid of "hide os" i checked the option to be able to see the mouse in game ex ive messed around with alot of the settings hoping to get a different result but nothing i do will make the cursor visible

I realize this is an old topic but I need help with this same thing..the only way I've been able to get both the 2player and 4player versions of some games is to allow clones but then I end up with a bunch of clones in the list. Help?
