    I've tried mapping the drive as well as using the network path: ie z:\roms and \\server\share\roms Latency shouldn't be a problem as I am able to plays the roms through mame in other FE's just fine (including video snaps).

    I ran through the installation and the verifier and the only thing that came back red was for things I did not enable. Every time I try to launch gamex I get an invalid rom path error. My rom path is set to a network drive but gamex doesn't seem to be able to play it, I verified this by placing a few roms in a local path and gamex was able to find them. Any suggestions? Storing the roms locally is not an option at this point.
