  1. Gameex Advance configuration has (I believe) a launch before and a launch after and if your tool you use to mount the ISO supports command line then I would assume this would accomplish exactly what your after.
  2. The way the loader\wrapper works as Myself and a couple other users written some a long long time ago was this. When you run the wrapper its supposed to that the "[Rompath]\Romfile]" variable games passes and then inject it into the NullDC.INI The INI also may also get edited to launch full screen or other settings but it was trivial. Once NullDC itself was executed it would then run the game inserted into the INI.. My guess is the issue is with the loader writing to the INI... I didnt know users were still using NullDC, Makaron or Demul as most have been supereceded my MAME, Refroarch (Reicast, Flycast) and have wonderful performance. There is another thread here that talks about how to get it up in gameex without the wrapper.
  3. Draco, Well, I didn't see it that way at all. When I started using Game-ex a lifetime ago, it was all list based so when I saw the wheel I was surprised and then even more so that I couldn't change it back to a list view. Especially considering the root menus are list based.
  4. I have some thoughts. RetroArch emulates most systems very well (perfectly in fact) and can replace tons of emulators. RetroArch also suppors global configs for thier emulator cores such as SAVE and Load states. It could be easy to specify the working path of retroarch and inject the settings that will save a state and load a state on exit , alternatly they can be done via hotkey from the emulator. These states are stored in slots. In theory if we could hook the key stroke combination to make a screen snap (something gameex can already do) it would also be possible to corrleate the snap with a save state and then dispaly it from the gui and load it. Kinda like the NES Classic does. Brian We may be able to do this with the advance config already, id like to dive into this once I get a grip on getting things setup again.
  5. Ya I was very interested in the minimal aspects of the the Gameex Arcade offers. As I get older I am figuring out less is more. The wheel isn't a deal breaker or anything , I have just got accustom a list view working with other projects such as RetroPIE and Emulationstation. To be honest, I'm looking forward to having a Gameex setup again. I have not had one in years. It seems my old account here must have been pruned.
  6. Draco, Well, I guess I didnt miss anything.. thanks for the prompt reply.
  7. Team, Its been a while and I thought Id check things out. When setting up an emulator last night I noticed the game list appears as a wheel, and id much prefer to have a vertical list (like older Gameex versions) I could not easily tell how to change it. I feel like I must be missing something. Any pointers? Brian
