I just added a 17" monitor to the top of my ArcadeX machine. As you may know this game cab has a real arcade monitor so that is where I want to play my games. What can GameEx do or is there something else I can run?

I have done all of this. The older version works great. Latest Vista packs, latest DirectX, latest video driver, cleaned computer, manually downloaded update and still, same thing. It is obviously haning on the Font. I have gone back to the default theme and still nothing. Resolution changes do nothing. If the old version worked just fine, why is the new version not? Sounds like code to me.

I deleted it but I still get the error. It appears this file is created on boot of GamEx because I see the file there again with a timestamp of when I tried to run it. I was able to have someone give me an older version of GameX .42 and guess what, it is working for me again so obviously something has changed in the last two to 3 versions that are causing this DirectX and Invalid Font issue. I can't believe how much time I wasted loading and reloading the PC only to find it really is the GameX software.....

You sir have saved the day!!!!!! I wish I would have had this hours ago before I started the machine over from scratch and installed Vista instead of XP hoping to fix the issue......Perhaps the developer will keep regression versions or implement a backup system.

This is killing me because I can't even run it anymore. It started on the last version and I can't even double-click on the exe from the directory to get it to work. I get the Please Wait loading screen and then it dumps. My log file is attached but I even started the machine over loading Vista today and the same damn error. I can't shake the font issue and would like to go back to the version from 3 iterations ago. I thought I saw a place once to download those? Any help on this is appreciated.

Yes, many. The fonts pull up just fine in other apps and in Fonts in the control panel. The OS is XP SP3.

Help! I updated 5 days ago and the system would error out on the splash screen and the log file said something about the DirectX.
