So I tried using GameEx a while ago, but I had an issue with the joystick not working properly, so I gave up on my project. Well I'm back to working on it, because other frontends don't seem to work as well. Let me just start with what I'm trying to do: I'm building a PC into an NES Console, and it's just going to have the NES Emulator installed and hoping to get it to run through GameEx. The original controller ports were wired through USB, using the RetroPorts. Now when I went through the install of GameEx, I got to the screen for which emulators to download, and I selected NEStopia, and it said "downloading" and then it said "unzipping". Is it supposed to say finished or anything, cause it sat at "unzipping" for a while. I think it did download though, because it was showing up in C:\Emulators. Ok, so when it was done installing I started up GameEx. It loaded just fine, and I could navigate through it using the NES Controller. The only thing, is there is no Emulator menu, or selection of the Emulator? Is there a way I can just download the Emulator from a site, and then link it with GameEx? I'm really lost with this, and would love to get this working! I'll have to post some pics of what it all looks like! Thanks!
