Question: The loading Media seems to only be for the Loading Images folder. I'm using the Loading Videos folder with the de-randomizer plugin and the tool (I forgot the name) that creates loading videos with the animated overlays. Am I missing a setting or post/comment that would allow the red loading hourglass be green if I have Loading Videos?
Can you post a new topic in the general forum for that, attaching your pinballx\config\pinballx.ini, pinballx\log\log.txt and pinballx\plugins\PBXLoadingImage_log.txt files. Thanks.

Thanks Mike.
Though it’s no longer an issue for me as I’ve gone fully 64 bit, so that become my default exe.
Though I guess it would be useful if any tables need to be run with 32 bit VPX. I think you’re correct in that it is a pinballx issue rather than your manager as when I checked the xml file it had correctly added the entry and path to the 64 bit file. So does appear that it’s pinballx that is possibly ignoring it.
I think if you use 'Launch Table' from within Database Manager then PinballX ignores the alternate exe flag, but it should work if you launch directly from PinballX.

Sorry to bother you guys again but I think I found some more small problems. I have created seperate folders for Visual Pinball tables by creating multiple systems. I created folders for every developer with 2 or more tables inside. And a folder for EM, a folder for Original and a folder for P-ROC. Also the default system for Visual Pinball was upgraded to start VPX 10.7.2 and the default system for Future Pinball was upgraded to run the latest FP BAM. Up to 40 custom systems no problem to import tables in the game manager, but the settings allow up to 60. So after 40 I had to manually create xml files for the database. That also seems to work fine but when I started to create images for system logo to identify all those systems and there it goes a bit funky. All the pictures are shown correct when you open the systems list, but it stops displaying those images at system 49 when you open that list. At all the other systems this picture is shown on the top right side below the table manufacturer. Also when disabling one of the systems (or the default systems for FP and VP) it shows the picture of system 50 and/or system 51. This is not a big problem but a weird issue when somebody takes customizing the frontend to the limit.
You really need to post that as an issue in the forum - https://forums.gameex.com/forums/forum/31-general/

The answer dont tell where to put the ini... In group folder? In wich system folder ? In général database folder? Im not at home to test for the moment
I think it needs to be in an enabled systems database folder. So amend one of your existing ini files, but leave it where it is. Then remove the others.
Probably best if you have all your 'all systems' ini files in the same database location for maintenance.

It'll be something Mikes done!
Can you post the issue in the support thread https://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/23840-app-pinballx-database-manager-2008280/ and attach your pinballx.ini file along with a zip file of your pinballx\databases folder
We'll take a look!

Great software! One question... I prefer my media files to be named the same as the "Display Name", not named as the "Table Name". Is there a way to change the media file naming to use the "Display Name"?
Sorry.. i have to hold my hand up there, it's my fault media is saved to match the table / file name - main reason is to guarantee uniqueness in the saved media file names. Glad you like it other than that though!

Hi, for my Pinball X tables I get the message "Table doesn't have a primary key" and the media does not work on the cabinet to the right.
Any ideas?
Hi, Please post in the support thread; https://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/23840-app-pinballx-database-manager/
Attach your DBManagerLog.txt file (in pinballx\log folder) after having the problem and the database xml file for the affected system(s) (from your pinballx\databases\systemname folder named systemname.xml). Thanks

Yes, you can install straight over the top. No changes will be made to media files or config (except maybe adding some new options, depending on how old the version is you're updating from)
