    Turns out it was sound card drivers. Installed the latst and everything is working!! Thanks for the responses!

    Checked all that. All the settings are good. Do you need the registered version for sound to work?

    Hi All, I am having a bit of an issue with sound using GameEx. There is the ambient arcade sound when in the menu screens, but when a game is started the sound quits and there is no sound in game play. If I play a game through the mame32 application the sound works fine. The sound works fine in all other applications and in windows. It's just isolated to game play in gameex. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
