    I understand those principles and the idea behind it, and i know its not necessary. I would just like to know if anybody knows of a way to fix this is make it show up in the background, as im assuming its supposed to, merely for the aesthetic value.

    If i have the show desktop option set to No it results in a blank screen when i run my emu. My emulator is running in the background as i can hear it and see it in alt+tab, but all i see is a black screen as well as my start button in the bottom left corner. I am on vista, if that makes a difference which im assuming it does. Thanks
