I've had a quick gander at how to get my xarcade stick configured for zinc with GameEx they all seem hugely complicated and time consuming. Is there any easy way of setting it up? Or does anyone have a configuration set up already for GameEx, Zinc and an Xarcade stick?

Ah, that'd probably explain it, i'll give it ago now, would have perfered to use OpenGL but hey ho! I've found out this weekend that the mame dev team have removed hi score support for older games i'm serioulsy ****ed off about that! This is going to present a problem to me For whatever reason the nvidia card in my mame box doesn't like using d3d on the tv out, its fine with opengl. It's obviously a general thing because i have to run everything with the -video ddraw through mame. Going to have a scout around after for answers! EDIT: Right i've sorted it all out, yes it appears you do have to use d3d with zinc for GameEx support. My issue was the fact that there was something wrong with my card meaning that it wouldn't output direct3d. this is sorted now though Cheers for your help guys.

I'm having a problem getting Zinc working with GameEx. Zinc works on my system perfectly as a standalone application however when i select a zinc enabled game within gameex, gameex minimises as it should, zinc actually launches, i get sound but just a black screen. I only have this problem when launching from gameex though, weird eh? Is there something i'm missing or is it a known problem?

Hmm, i'm using an xarcade stick.....can't remember if that uses shift or not now.

Don't know if this should be a feature requirment or a theme requirment hence why i'm asking! Is it possible to filter games by first letter though, at the moment to get to S i have to go through all games A-S where as it'd be really nice to just select S!

Is this possible? I've got an Xarcade setup, i'm after running my Amiga stuff through GameExs interface but ideally i want lemonade to launch the games, it does a really really good job of selecting the most compatible kickstarts etc. Has anyone done this? Is it possible??

My xarcade stick was navigating throught hte GameEX menu perfect, i added the command line param -ctrl xarcade so it would also work within mame, i rebooted and it now won't work!

I've gone through the advanced config, mame runs fine, plays the game, then when you press esc, the screen goes black, i get a mouse pointer and thats it, no GAMEex? Have i missed somethign stupid or is this a problem?
