  1. I solved this issue. I must have had a corrupted file in the \PinballX folder. I re-copied the following files from my download repository (all VP files I have downloaded and kept in order to get my cabinet running): dmddevice.dll XDMD.dll XDMDNative.dll And now I have the PinDMDv3 working as expected.
  2. I have some DMD videos under c:\PinballX\Media\Visual Pinball\Real DMD Color Videos Originally I had this working. If i remember correctly even if a table did not have either a static DMD image or a DMD video PinballX would show a PinballX logo in the DMD, but I am not even seeing that now. thanks
  3. Hello, I am having a problem getting PinballX to display anything on my PinDMDv3 (color USB). I had this working at the bench and now after moving into my cabinet PinballX will not display anything on the DMD. My PinDMDv3 works and is setup on Com3 (Win10). If I launch a table via PinballX the DMD works through VPx and displays correctly for all tables. If I run the DMDEXT test I do get the test pattern on my DMD, so it has to be something simple I am overlooking. Thanks in advance log.txt PinballX.ini
  4. Not really a resolution, but this problem has to do with using backglass videos. I changed everything to a static image for backglesses only and everything works with no issues (playfield videos work fine for all). Maybe some sort of conflict with directB2S server??? Anyway - I am good for now.
  5. Well it was a good thought, but after dropping the size from 30mb down to 6mb for BioLab, I still have the same issue, so I don't think size is the problem here.
  6. Thanks and yes they are quite large in size. I will re-encode using Handbrake to drop the size and see if that works.
  7. Hello - Yes LAV codecs are the only ones installed. The source of the BG videos are from the GameEx FTP site, so I think they should be in the correct format and size?. Like I said the log file is clean (even after the crash), but here it is anyway along with the pinballx.ini file. Thanks again PinballX.ini log.txt
  8. UPDATE: This definitely has to do with the FX2 backglass videos. I moved them to a backup folder so they would not load, and can't reproduce the freeze now........(previously I could reproduce the freeze within 5 minutes) Not sure why this would cause a crash?? thanks
  9. Hello All, I have an issue with my PinballX menu crashing seemingly randomly, but I have have noticed it always happens when going from a VPx table to an FX2 table. I have a 3 screen setup with a PINDMD3 and what happens is that whatever table is before the FX2, table freezes on the screen and the backglass goes dark and my PINDMD3 video freezes. NOTE: this does not happen every time I go past a Pinball FX2 table, and I can run the FX2 table with no issues. I finally have all of my tables, B2S server, and PINDMD3 working correctly otherwise, and this is my last problem to solve. I am running Windows 10, I have the latest version of PinballX and Visual Pinball and both were installed as admin. I am running an Nvidia GTX 760 graphics card and not an ATI. I was thinking maybe codecs, and I just installed the latest codec pack (as none were previously installed), but still same issue. PinballX log.txt is clean with no errors. The only way I can get out of the freeze is to ctrl-alt-del and logout (I can't alt-tab to the task manager to kill PinballX). Any ideas or any other logs I can check? Thanks
