Well, after several hours I seem to have corrected the problem, instead of using the loading shortcuts method, I went back to loading custom .conf's, which gave me fits on the screen setup, but after deleting them all and redoing them again, it seems to have worked this time! Hope this post may be of some help to someone out there!

Hi all, I just discovered Gamex yesterday and I'm running some tests to see what it can do, and I've run into a couple of problems that I haven't been able to find answers to in the forums or the FAQ... I have Gamex setup to run DOSBox shortcuts from D-Fend Reloaded, and after some tweaking have finally got it to work. However, once I start the game, it switches focus to DOSBox and then back to Gamex, so I have to manually switch back to DOSBox again to play the game Also, when I attempt to exit the game, DOSBox quits, but Gamex says the game is still running and just shows a black screen, so I have to restart the Gamex application. I'm sure it's something simple, so any help would be greatly appreciated! *EDIT: After some further testing, it seems these problems only happen with the DOSBox emulator, I setup Nestopia and it works exactly as expected, if this helps
