  1. I was wonder if any of you have experience with setting up multiple gamepads for use with mame. I have 2 wireless Game Elements "PS2 style" game pads and one strait USB connected GameFactory "PS2 style" gamepad. I have my PC display cloned to my flat screen and I like to us GameEx as my all in one console. My question is that I am having trouble programing all three pads to be used with mame under first, second, and third player. Player one by default works fine except that it also controls player two half the time, ditto if I have the player 2 gamepad turned on. I try to manually set the gamepad inputs in Mame via the tab key but I get two proplems. First when I set them It keeps holding on to the prior config so I get "Player One left is Joy1 -x or joy1 +x or joy1 +x or joy1 -y or joy1 +x or joy1 +x or joy1 -y..." ect ect ect. Second, even if I do somehow get the controls configured, it does not save my input setting once I leave the game. Does anyone know how I can get 3 gamepads to work for three players with mame and to have them stay working once I leave the game? Thank you!
  2. Nevermind! I figured it out!
  3. Hey all. Im trying to get the Stella Atari 2600 emu to work, but when I load any rom the screen goes black and there is a fast paced beeping sound. Anyone know how to fix this? Im not using it with Gameex yet as I am just trying to get the emulator to work. Thanks! P.S. I have downloaded the most up to date version of the emulator from the developers website and I have re downloaded it about 5 times so I do not believe it is a corrupt download.
  4. alt enter switch? Im sorry how does one do that?
  5. Cool. Well running in desktop mode seems to do the trick. I just have to manually set it to run in full screen (even though I have launch in full screen option selected) I can live with that though. Thank you
  6. Well Good news. I edited some space errors in the command line under the emulator setup and now I can hear the game its is just a black screen though. Ok this is what I have: [Emulator_4] Enabled=True STARTPAGENAME=Nintendo NES Games TITLETEXT=NES StartPageLogo=nes ROMFilter= RomPath=C:\Emulators\Nestopia\Nes Roms SnapPath=C:\Emulators\Nestopia\samples TitlePath= BoxPath=C:\Emulators\Nestopia\Boxart CartPath= ManualPath= ControlPanelPath= InstructionsPath= WorkingPath=C:\Emulators\Nestopia MapKeys=True WaitBeforeKeys=3000 SendKeys=%{ENTER} ReplaceDash=True ReplaceUnder=True Capitals=True RemoveBrackets=True ShowDesktop=False Debug=False MAPFile= AlsoLaunch= Command=Nestopia.exe "[ROMPath]\[RomFile]" OLDatZip= LaunchBefore= LaunchAfter= configFile= ExcludedFiles= CustomBackground= PlayMusic= DontShowInfo= PlaySelectionMusic= SelectionMusicFolder= PCGame= DATABASE=NES GamesIn7Zips=False PlayInScreenSaver=True ShowMostPlayed= RandomMostPlayed= CDCheck= CDCheckFile= [GENERAL] DumbyValue=
  7. Hey all. I am new to this and I was wondering if you could help me. I made sure to search the forms and such before I posted as to not waste your guys' time but I cannot seem to solve this issue. The problem is, when I try to run a nes emulator in gameex be it Nestopia or VirtualNes the same thing happens. I select the the game, and the screen goes black for a few seconds and then it returns to Gameex with every game I try to run. No error messages show up wither. I have the preferences setting to Full Screen and I have even tried to run it using the "show desktop" option under emulator set up to no avail. When I run the emulators "stand alone" without gameex they load fine with no error messages or anything. I have seen some posts where users post their config files to help in the trouble shooting process. I am not sure how to do that so if you could help me out there to I would appreciate that. If some one knows what may cause this problem it would be very helpful. Thanks!
