    Thanks for helping out. The point 2. was the key. Changing the config "Full screen windowed" from NO to YES and all the lagginess is gone. I also learned how to get FPS readings out. With this setting as NO the FPS drops in Scared Stiff from about 190 -> 40. 190 is also what I get when run without PinballX.

    Hello. I'm new to PinballX and Visual Pinball in general. I've just set up a new rig for the purpose. I'm experiencing the same problem as the OP: The ball is jerky and the flippers feel laggy when I start my tables (Scared Stiff and Bram Stoker's Dracula) through PinballX. When started from VPX everything is smooth as silk. Any help appreciated. The PinballX seems fantastic frontend and I'd really like to get it up and running properly. My PinballX.ini: And a log.txt from a laggy session: Anything more I can tell, just ask. Thanks.
