BTW I found this issue is w/ the mame-testers: http://mametesters.org/mantis/view.php?id=974 One other quick question on Blitz2k for those who can get it working. When you enter the games audit menu (F2) are all of the options under adjustments/additional adjustments jumbled and overlapping? Each option appear a number of times and the text overlaps on my side. If I try to change options it says they're invalid. The only ones I can change are clock speed and difficulty. At first I thought this setup issue might be causing the crash problem but the adjustment menu is fine in '99. If a few people have this problem I'll submit it. Thanks!

Well I PMed cquealy to see if he had figured out a solution. He said if you wait until after the game intro plays (where it shows actually game footage) the game will load and play w/o crashing. So I tried that and sure enough it works fine (60 to 70% speed but still works). Wierd how letting it run through the demo makes a difference. Either way my thanks to him for getting it running (kinda) ;-)

I'm having the exact same problem. The original Blitz works but Blitz99 and Blitz2k do not. I've tried both 122 and 123. I'm running Vista SP1 if that helps. Blitz 2K did work in a really old (.90) version of mame but there have been obvious improvements in speed since then so I'm hoping to get it running on the newest version of MAME.
