    Thanks for the update. Hope your head wasn't swirling to much in nostalgia with the very old school install! Now I can finish this box and give it to my friend for his birthday ;-)

    Heya. Just thought I would give this link to MDAC 2.8 SP1, which solved the problem of installing it in the first place. I had the same plroblem with Windows 98 SE and the original MDAC 2.8. The version below installs fine, and allows you to run GameEx. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en
