Stay away from the FLV's they are twice the size, only have them for hyperspin 1.0 support and that will not be for much longer and I will be removing them all together. Not only that but I have been working on this switch out for the last year, most sets have been re-edited, replaced, or added to and audio has been normalized completely across the board meaning every video from every set has the exact same audio levels now.

Its usually 5 seconds, but your transaction got hung, I fixed it as soon as I saw it
  6. I posted some samples for download here: http://emumovies.com/forums/index.php/blog/8/entry-37-first-wii-video-snaps-added/
  7. I use fraps too, but you have to edit the capture a little It's fine for capturing but you cant be using bandwidth to move those files.
  8. I have scripts set up that not only join the sections but automatically add the transitions. When I edit, the flow looks like this. (Single game clip and title) game g.avi game t.avi = game.avi (Multiple game clips and title) game g1.avi game g2.avi game g3.avi game t.avi =game.avi The script auto joins and encodes. When I do the editing I can resize, crop and pull the sequences out of the rough capture depending on what the submitter feel like doing As far as what you upload it would be crazy to upload uncompressed 2gb avi sections. Look at the tutorial that I posted and it will walk you through how to quickly get it prepped for upload. Use xvid lvl 1, instead of uploading 2gb you will be uploading 50-60 mb. Or for lossless use TSCC (Check the private ftp)
  9. PSX emulation is good enough that it wouldnt be worth it to do it on a real console.
  10. Give me the files as raw as you can, the less encoding the better. Are you using a dvd recorder too?
  11. I'm sure we can arrange something wait...that already happened! I don't have anything as far as psp is concerned. As far as letterboxing, thats all fixed in editing on my side so no worries about that.
  12. Check out the first 10 of them:
  13. No problem Can't wait actually. when they are up let me know and I will do a quick turnaround on them and see what you think.
  14. The Nintendo 64 collection have been updated and added to the site. Video Snaps are now 100% compliant to the Hyperlist 1.1 database. (I.E. US/Europe Games.) In addition to the Video Snaps, there is also a system intro intro video Boxes, carts, box-backs, and manuals were also added to the set. Currently this set is 240p as the masters are from... 16. I am not sure if you looked over the tutorial, but you will want to use xvid 1. with 10 you would lose a lot of detail.
  17. in many sports games you can set it to cpu/cpu. also sometimes it will play actual gameplay as part of the attract mode. Just depends. If you guys want to move this thread over to emumovies it might be helpful. And we can coordinate resources over there. Whoever is involved can be upped to content contributor status and we can use the private ftp if need be. Also DJ, are you burning these games to disc?
  18. Actual gameplay, the avi's should be pretty big, 50mb or more for gamecube/wii. You want them at least 640x480 and i can tackle all of the editing on my end and spit out a final mp4 vid that will match the other 20,000 we have it can be longer but need at least 30 sec gameplay and 7 sec title. If you would like to record gameplay from different sections that is fine two, I can transition them together. Here are some finished examples that I made with Dolphin
  19. Since HyperList had a Database for Sega ST-V I went ahead and re-did all of the videos from that set using MAME. I also created a specific System Intro video for the set. The video snaps created for this set will also be included in the next MAME video snap update. Below is the System Intro video that I made for the... View the full article

  21. No need for editing in premiere, all the transitions and stuff are done by automated batches on my end. Bring on PSP
  22. Just wait until I put the Tiger Game.com videos up.
  23. DJ, I hope your open to a little feedback The Quality of the captures is pretty good. If possible I would like to suggest some changes to content. Mainly a title screen, and in some cases a little more actual game play. I know this is a set that your doing for yourself and you don't have to change anything and the shares are still greatly appreciated. I would love to include these toward an official Wii video set. Those are pretty standard (30sec gameplay / 7sec title). Awhile back I created a small video tutorial on submitting captures if your interested and I think you will find it quite helpful. Video Submission Guidelines and Tutorial [2011 Version] (Basic)
  24. There is not one game system that we don't want videos for. For gods sake there is a sega vmu video set at emumovies lol.
  25. actually mp4 is fine just make sure to use a very high quality setting because I will have to convert to avi to edit. If you submit avi same thing, overdo it on the quality so it can withstand an edit. I have final encoding down to a science I had done quite a few GC ones with dolphin but I'm pretty sure im going to throw that project out the window now. Or only use that to fill in your blanks. The emulation can not compete with an actual console at this point.
