I am putting together a gaming system with numerous emulators, but I don't want to add thousands of worthless games. So in your opinion what are some of the best games by system, ie all Nintendo platforms, all Sega platforms, ect.

You don't need to reprogram the buttons. If you have the two player x-arcade joystick, it is already set up. Just hold the right flipper button and press the player two button.

Hold the right flipper button and press the player two button. That should take you out of the game.

I see that the theme background and some of the graphics are bit maps, can different graphics formats be used or do we have to stick with bit maps?

Could you release a real Lite version that just contains ans installs the files needed for the gamimg front end?

What are the variable used by the themes? I was thinking of creating a Theme but since there doesn't seem to be any documentation on creating themes I don't know what goes in the config file. Is the config file blank and added to by the program or are there variables? I checked the config files of all the installed themes and I came up with these: [GENERAL] ArcadeMode=True or False XResolution=640/640/800/1024 YResolution=288/480/600/768 MediaCenterMode=0 (0 or 1)? DisplayBackgroundImage=True or False or snap? DialogTextWhite=True or False TitleFont=Joystix AlphaBlendVideos=True or False AniBak=True or False OutlineFonts=True of False HideToolbar=1 (0 or 1)? I notice that there is now a Lite installation version. What does it and what doesn't it install? The Lite version take a while to install and it seems to install alot of files for just a game frontend. Is it installing any unneeded files? MaxxDamage

Have you ever thought of creating a Cafepress store and selling shirts, mouse pads, and coffee cups? I wouldn't mind a GameEx mouse pad. MaxxDamage

My problem is the oppisite. My favorites over-write my games list.

Is your list blank or is it replaced by your Favorites? Are do you have favorites saved? This has happened to myself and onw other person.

Well the glitch returned again. I was playing one of the games in my favorites list (Qix), when I exited the game and went back to the "All Mame Games" list, my list of games had been over-written by my "Mame Favorites." I removed the "Adult Games" from the list since the problem started after GameEx was changed to list them separately. I'll have to see if that is the problem.

I don't think it's you. We exit using the option within GameEx.

This weekend I started up GameEx and the games listed in "All Mame Game" section were replaced by my favorites list. When check the Capcom list it only contained the Capcom games that were in my favorites list. I re-ran "Update List" and that fixed it, I don't know if the problem will return or not. Maxx Damage

Hey suggestion was added. I'm glad to see this front end evolving with user suggestions.

Something is better than nothing.

I like the fact that you have the option to list adult games or not. What I would like to see is a separate section for adult games, like NeoGeo games have their own section. And if that section could be password portected that would be even better.
