I tried to search but I couldnt find anything... Is there a way to just 'fill in' what screenshots your missing for a certain emu section? Also, will running a snap generation overwrite whatever's in the current art directory? Thanks!

Just curious...is there docs somewhere for setting up the display of control panels/cpviewer type functionality? I am pretty sure I'm seeing a 'show control panel option' but how do I setup my own personalized layouts (if I have the image) and setup diff. images for diff. emulators, etc. (i.e. diagram of what buttons are for A, B, select start, etc on a NES) Thanks in advance (BTW searched...found...well...a bajillion threads that didnt pertain )

Just trying to get things setup as I have free time, but the 'larger' setting seems to be right at the sweet spot for 'smallest you can view easily' on my TV. It's a 32" CRT tv so the resolution isn't great. My TV-out card isn't the greatest either but I have it tweaked as best I can (using 800x600 resolution on the PC/line-out as well). TV-Out upgrade is prob. in the future. But for now, this works perfectly. Just need to get all my emulators into the front-end, and see how it works from the sofa . And thanks again (and I saw the other posts, after I made mine - should have searched more, sorry - but like I said, your manner/attitude is just way better then many I've encountered).

Dude....wow. After dealing with nothing but a-hole developers throughout my attempts at setting up my HTPC....just...wow. Thank you so much. This, the fact that I MAY be getting an X-Arcade panel for christmas, and the fact that I actually past my dissertation defense for my PhD last nite are making this one great week. Again, thank you. Now, with my 'rest day' I can finish setting up GameEx Yippee! hehe

Hrm. tried the arcade mode with the larger fonts...didn't seem to do anything (I'm running at 800x600). Def. need bigger fonts for the TV-Out. :/

Had a few questions regarding gameex to see if it would meet my needs (I've been messing around with it tonight, and it's a great program). The main issues I'm seeing that I'd need to over come are: - Menus (Change the 'All mame games' to just Mame or something like that. Cosmetic and I can deal if it's unchangeable) - Font size - Screen layout (Is this 'dead zone'?, didn't test so not sure) to take into account overscan on the tv-out. Font size I think is the biggest. I'm running the tv-out at 800x600 and the font is JUST too small to be readable (without strain). I'm currently using mamewah as a solution, but I really like the features (favorites, etc) of this program, as well as it's friendliness to alternate input (mameway will NOT accept keyboard input from outside 'remote control' programs for some weird reason). Just curious before I spent too much time trying to set it up . (also, can the screen saver thing be turned off). Thanks in advance, great program!
