  1. Log attached attempting to record videos from game list manager... log.txt
  2. Just noticed an issue. Not sure if it's related to any recent changes because I haven't used the option in a while however when I record videos from the Game List Manager, DMD recordings are showing up as captures of my backglass. (3-screen cabinet). I'm getting the same video for both the BG and DMD. ini file attached... If unrelated, let me know and I'll post a new topic. Thanks PinballX.ini
  3. Confirmed DOF is fixed/working on 4.0.3... Thanks Tom!
  4. Thanks Tom. I'm not sure what it could be... installed 4.02, ran as admin and get the same result, roll back and all works again. Cabinet.xml
  5. Sorry for the delay... please see attached. DirectOutput.loglog.txt
  6. Just installed 4.01 and DOF no longer works for me... was working fine on 3.94... rolled back to 3.94 and all is working again. log.txt DirectOutput.log
  7. Delaying startup of DOFlinx or PinballX seems to be working. Had to mess around with timing but am sitting at 17 seconds which seems to be good.
  8. I should have kept my mouth shut... Just had another instance of DofLinx taking focus at startup even with the delay.
  9. I launch DofLinx via shortcut within the startup folder and the same goes for PinballX. I just created a batch file and added a TIMEOUT statement to it for DofLinx to allow PinballX to load first. Hoping this works...
  10. I've determined that DofLinx is taking focus as PBX and Doflinx both were running at startup. I tried adding a delay to PBX however that didn't work so I added a delay to DofLinx and that seems to be working so far. This issue only occurs at Startup so I assumed it was likely DofLinx grabbing focus... It doesn't make any sense to me as Doflinx is also a background app but everything appears to be working through several startups over the past 24 hours.
  11. CECTray is for my Pulse-Eight HDMI adapter. My Playfield doesn't come on and off by itself so I use this device that send "power-on" commands to the TV upon Windows startup. This app runs once in the background at startup. For my buttons, I'm using an iPac-2. Monitors are left to right ...PF (ID2), BG (ID1), LCD DMD (ID3).
  12. No, it's been an issue since I installed it. I'm at the end of my build and this was one of the loose ends I needed to tie up.
  13. I just changed everything to match Windows and everything broke... When starting a game the Loading screen shows up in the middle of the screen and just before the game kicks in, it gets smaller and shifts to the right. The DMD is no longer displayed and VPX games won't start.
  14. Everything displays correctly so I didn't mess with any of the settings. Playfield is 4K 3840x2160. Should I modify the settings if they're displaying properly?
  15. Hi all, I'm running PinballX 3.92 and am having focus issues and almost always have to alt-tab to make PinballX the active screen after startup. I'm running three apps at startup... Doflinx (admin), PinballX (not admin) and cectray (admin) which is my hdmi adapter to turn my playfield monitor on at startup. When my machine starts everything load properly and PinballX is displaying on all three monitors (all on same GPU). None of my buttons work until I alt-tab to highlight PinballX. It's usually three or four windows in. Any suggestions to correct this issue? Thanks!
  16. Tom, I reinstalled 3.35 and replaced the exe you provided (x86) and it appears to be working. Thank you!
  17. Rolled back to 3.28 and things are working again. Hopefully the issue is resolved in a future release.
  18. I posted this on another thread by mistake - Please see below. I'm having a serious display issue with 3.35. Installed and when I tried to run I got a quick blip on the screen but no PinballX. Through troubleshooting I've determined it's something to do with my DMD monitor as when I disable it in PBX Settings or unplug it, PBX loads and works properly. In case it matters, I'm using a USB DisplayLINK monitor that is not connected to my GPU. I'm thinking PBX is grabbing the display settings from one or the other GPU's, not both and not Windows, but that's just a guess on my part. Any help is appreciated. ini, settings and log files attached. PinballX.ini log.txt [SETTINGS].log
  19. Just following up on this and the issue was related to drivers for my DMD LCD which has been corrected. Been having another issue with only FX3 for quite some time. Occasionally the PinballX DMD stays up but completely black and positions itself in front of my FX3 DMD. If I exit out and launch the game again, it usually functions normally. Seeing something similar with the playfield too - the loading screen will sometimes stay at the forefront and I have to alt-tab to have the FX3 playfield show. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
  20. When launching FX3 games it is a black DMD sized rectangle that appears on the playfield. When I “Alt-Tab”, I see a window called “PinballX DMD”. All of the Windows display settings are correct when it occurs. It has to be something wonky happening with the CEC adapter that PinballX doesn’t like. I ran another Frontend to test and it works fine without issue. Worst case, I’ll remove the adapter and go back to the drawing board for a solution to turn on my playfield when I fire up the cabinet.
  21. It’s the PinballX DMD... I did some more testing and it happens on all games. Also narrowed it down to having to do with my Pulse Eight USB-CEC adapter for turning on my playfield monitor at startup. Nothing actually changes in Windows but PinballX appears to be ignoring the DMD position when I use the adapter.
  22. Hi all, Seeking some assistance with PinballX… I had everything working properly until recently I needed to reinstall PinballX. I'm having an issue that when I launch FX3 games the PinballX DMD stays running and appears on my main playfield screen as a large black rectangle. I have Hide DMD set to TRUE (checked in Game Manager). I've checked the XML file and it matches the settings in Game Manager. If I change settings to Full Screen Windowed, the DMD stays behind the playfield and I can play the game however I know the DMD shouldn't still be running after launching a game. Any ideas on why this is happening? Thanks! PinballX.ini log.txt
  23. Hi all, I'd like to submit a feature request to add custom loading images by system to PinballX. An example of what I'm requesting is below. Thanks! I run MAME and a Jukebox on my backbox screen. When using either system, the playfield displays the usual "LOADING" image. I'd like to be able to display something other than the default loading image... Perhaps a MAME logo, or the logo of the game being played.
  24. Hi all, I saw a feature request from a couple years ago to have PinballX be able to display custom loading images by system. I can't find any reference to the request actually being implemented and don't see any options in PinballX 3.28. Specifically, I run MAME and a Jukebox on my backbox screen. When using either system, the playfield displays the usual "LOADING" image. I'd like to be able to display something other than the default loading image... Perhaps a MAME logo, or the logo of the game being played. Any guidance is appreciated! Thanks!
