OK -- just looked through the release note page and see that zips were turned off in March until some speed improvements in zip handling could be made. I guess I'll try unpacking!

The config program states that you can point to the path holding the individual files OR to the zip file. It would be a drag to have to unzip all of these!

Just discovered GameEx and sent Tom my donation, but I'm still having a problem with one thing. I can't seem to figure out how to get the snaps, marquees, etc. displayed. I have set all of the path in the configuration to the names of the appropriate zip files (i.e. C:\mame\cabinets\cabinets.zip) but still nothing. I have gone through the many pages of configuration many times looking for the magic switch and have read the forums but still nothing. Any help appreciated. Dave
