  1. Well I just solved it. It must have been a problem with the config file. I just copied the old config folder from the 7.0 install and put it in the 9.0 and it views all of the roms and plays them fine. Thanks for offering help though.
  2. I have had version 7 installed for over a year and a half and have not had a problem. Recently my roms list all of a sudden shows that my total roms is only 107 where I had over 3000 previously. I ran a rom scan and still it showed only 3000. I thought maybe it is time for an upgrade. I installed the latest version 9. I set everything up and pointed the emulator back to my old mame32 emulator that worked previously. Now when I try to load a game it just kicks me back to the gameex menu. I even tried to turn off bezel and that did not work. Does anyone have any suggestions on either how to get the new version to allow me to load games or how to get the old version to show all of my roms?
  3. I did get the answer in the FAQ when I was looking around after posting. The odd part was that I had newer drivers before too but they worked fine. I now loaded the old drivers and all is good. Sorry for not reading more before I posted.
  4. I had an older version (not sure which one but about 3 months old) which ran great on my system. I had a drive failure and now got a new drive and installed the new version and it runs all of the animations really choppy. Is there a reason for this does the new version require more ram? I have 128 and am going to upgrade but would like other suggestions.
