  1. Aha! I figured out why Change View didn't seem to work before. I didn't realize that there's a *separate* Change View on the main menu, versus on the games lists. ... now I need to figure out how to disable the marquees that have suddenly popped up :-S but i'm pretty sure that's Mame side and not GameEx side.
  2. Hey Tom, appreciate the response. I swear I've looped through the "Change View" options and tried every single one, and haven't found the right thing yet. I'll give it another spin next time I go back out to the dining room where it is. Any other way to reset it? editing an ini file or something? And if/when I do get it back to normal, is there a way to eliminate the Change View option completely? :-D I'm sooooo sick of teenagers messing with the settings on every thing there is that has settings. and breaking everything that doesn't.
  3. Hi all, first post. I've been using GameEx for a few months now, pretty happily, and unfortunately it seems that someone has managed to change the default format of the games and favorites list -- using the default styling for GameEx, the list *was* in a vertical list format, that fit a dozen maybe up to 2 dozen names on the screen at once, with little game icons next to them. I booted up yesterday, and the list is now in a horizontal format, where I can see exactly one at a time, and instead of icons, it's using full screen shots. No one in the house remembers doing anything, the other person who played says it just booted that way, they thought I did it. How do I make it go back? I've tried "Change View" through all the settings, and I've tried resetting the theme to Default from the configuration. :-S Thanks!
