  1. Here's my stripped down version - and the xml file that doesn't seem to load anything after launching pbx. LaunchZaccaria.ahk LaunchZaccaria.exe Zaccaria Pinball.xml
  2. I started working on this again. I'm getting further with the script - getting an error with dc2.exe unable to find or read from file - other weird part is when I have it enabled in pbx it doesn't seem to be adding the table names from the xml. Not sure who else is interested in this still, just thought I would play with it some more.
  3. Thanks Tom, these files worked! I can now see the pinballx video in attract mode. I'm seeing DMD display also for some of my vpx games, but the ones for PBFX3 are all distorted and look like it's playing 2 of them at a time. Am I understanding the PinMAME options correctly? That hide should be set to "no" and use in frontend should be set to yes for it to use the altcolor roms?
  4. Thanks Tom, I'll try these right when I get home tonight. I know for a fact I hadn't been moving the libusbk.dll file over. Not sure how I missed that in the documentation.
  5. I've done complete uninstalls and re-installs of everything 32 bit and 64 bit- Pinballx - gotten the latest pin2dmd dlls and placed them in the pinballx directory, ensured all dlls are unblocked, running as admin, etc. Still can't seem to get even at the least the no dmd video to display. I've seen multiple posts about this type of issue being solved by placing the files from the pin2dmd integration folders, tried that as well and still have a blank dmd in pinballx, fx2, fx3, vpx all work from launching inside of pinballx and display dmd results, even run pinball arcade outside of pinballx and have dmd results, just not sure what driver or dll i'm missing. [SETTINGS].log log.txt
  6. Hey Draco, Did I post this in the wrong forum? Still getting used to all of this. Thanks!
  7. Glad it helped someone!
  8. Here's what they said for anyone still following this. Zaccaria Pinball Thanks John for going into that detail. There are some other requests by cabinet players at the moment that we saw and have noted but for the time being there are not many cabinets upgrades coming, the reason for that is that the cabinet players are only a small percentage of our player base. But this does not mean we will never add it, it is just that we focus currently on the following goals: - Releasing Nintendo Switch - Releasing all tables on Steam from the ZP collection and getting out of early access. - Improving VR for Steam and also make it work better with Rift - Releasing mobile version in 2018
  9. The settings in PinballX should seem familiar. The kicker was setting the launch options inside of steam for Pro Pinball Ultra. M3 worked for me with pin2dmd and my other 2 regular monitors. Ensuring you have dmdext.exe in the same directory as where your pro pinball ultra install lives. And ensuring you have a copy of the propinballslave file from your dmdext folder as well in the application install directory of pro pinball ultra as well. Hopefully this makes sense and helps. Ask away if anything comes up.
  10. I'm 100% agreement with you there on their being code issue. And in my case I upgraded from my 740 because I was seeing some minor ball jitter in pfx3 that I just couldn't get over and I was running at low video settings, it was pegged at 100% usage, while my CPU and RAM were barely being touched. I saw that the arcooda cabs were being built with nvidia 970's. Like most of the devs I know say, just throw hardware at it we'll fix it later.
  11. I will do that tonight! Hopefully it helps someone else out and I can payback some of the support this community has given me!
  12. I saw multiple threads on this that were a couple years old. As I'm just in my first 6 months of this, I wanted to let everyone know that I got Pro Pinball Ultra - Timeshock working directly out of PinballX in Cabinet Mode with real my pin2dmd. If anyone is interested I'll post the steps tonight. Cheers all!
  13. I'm in conversation with Zaccaria on Facebook on this topic, well at least a direct table launch topic - not sure how far that will get us but at least they're conversing!
  14. I don't get the no-dmd videos playing either - maybe I missed something simple?
  15. I know that they are working on enhancements to help the performance of this - I upgraded my video card over the weekend and all of the slowness went away. I don't think an nvidia 1050 overclocked should be needed for something like this - curious what other are using with the good performance.
  16. Thanks Draco1962. That might be what I'm missing. I have files for DMD videos in \media\GameName\DMD Videos. Haven't copied anything into the other DMD video portions. I have a pin2dmd that functions in game. PinballX.ini log.txt
  17. I've been trying to figure out how to get the settings right so that when scrolling through the tables I have loaded that the DMD shows up. Am I missing something here? Or extra video files? I have DMD enabled in the display settings and use PinMAME in Front End set to No.
  18. Hey Gilrock - not sure if you've gotten your Real DMD working, I have a pin2dmd that works with this.
  19. I'm sure everyone in here knows this - the new version of dmdext fixes any workarounds. Extremely excited about this! I tested it out and we're good to go!
  20. I wish my gameplay was this smooth .. it's not! Great video from this guy though.
  21. Thanks for sharing that HLR53 - that's a very interesting idea!
  22. Apparently there's a request in to make this work with dmdext without tweaking any of the exe files. I'll wait for that and I guess purchase the tables before the 30th!
  23. That was my next question if the anti glare is worth anything - thanks for sharing that! I guess I'm still confused about the position for my pin2dmd - it doesn't show up as a monitor in windows - so maybe that's my struggle of getting this working in cabinet mode - just odd the dmdext command works in the standard mode just not cabinet. Still tweaking away.
