  1. Thanks BrandonLaw, just what I needed. I did all of the active backglasses, force feedback and MX effects almost on the day and now finally get around to adding them to my front end!
  2. I meant using the DOFLinx right-click menu to test the running of a B2S backglass just in case there is an issue with some part of that setup.
  3. I run PinballX, FX2 / 3 and DOFLinx (obviously ) as standard on my cabinet, so I am sure your setup will work. I have the backglass disabled and the DMD repositioned to a third screen. There are two parts to think about here; 1) The loading of the B2S correctly 2) FX2 Starting up OK Is this a matter of focus? ie if you Alt-Tab do you find the running game? If so there are options for this as well (FX2_FOCUS=) Here are a couple of suggested tests to help diagnose where the issue may be; 1) Set DEBUG=1 in DOFLinx.INI and use the right-click Test B2S option to try loading and running an effect within a B2S backglass. (Note this test routine does use the FX3 B2S path for its back glasses - same test though) 2) If you start FX2 from a command line with the arguments to start a game immediately what do you get? 3) Set DEBUG=2 and run the entire sequence, this will log all the activities from DOFLinx through the sequence - I doubt there will be anything telling, but it will help more than the very short DEBUG=0 log you have so far.
  4. Thanks @joyrider3774 I've just finished the B2S active backglasses and full force feedback for all three tables. I will be uploading the new DOFLinx and backglasses over at www.vpforums.org shortly.
  5. Brilliant - grabbing them now
  6. As usual, while making stuff work and after spending most of my time running FX3 games via the grid, I just realised that I hadn't setup a heap of games to run direct from PinballX! I'm struggling to find wheels (or anything else) for the Williams Volume 3 pack - Theatre of Magic, Champion Pub and Safe Cracker. Anyone got any leads for me? Only a few days until Williams Volume 4 ..... back to those active backglasses for me!
  7. Working here too - wow, a real flurry, hen a fix!
  8. FYI. I just got this from Support at Zen Studios " thank you for reporting this, we have just been made aware of this issue ourselves today. We are looking into it, if there is a way for us to solve this, or contact Steam to make use of the really cool cabinets a lot of you have built " While we all try to find a way through this by adapting to the changes, I also suggest everyone contacting [email protected] and reporting this bug that makes pinball cabinet use of the Zen Studios product so difficult. I suggest being firm, but treating it as a bug that stops what we all bought and enjoy from working. I hope they can help to get it sorted out.
