Hi all, I wonder if someone can help me out with this problem: After one of the recent automatic updates (I believe it was the July 16th update), every time I start a MAME game, it loads (I can see the percentage loaded display go up to 100%) After a few moments of blank screen, I am taken back to the GameEx menu. I have upgraded to the very latest GameEx.. but the problem still exists. Some information that might be useful: - My version of GameEx is registered, this isn't the trial version - Running with a real arcade cab+monitor, via a PC with an ArcadeVGA card, at 640x288 - The PC is running Windows XP (latest service pack) - M.A.M.E. v0.115 (May 5 2007) - The problem did not start just after a MAME update (ie: everything was fine with my current MAME version for quite some time) - I did not change my GameEx config at all (nothing but the automatic GameEx update occurred) - Other emulators work fine.. only MAME games have this problem - If I run MAME games from a dos prompt (using the same command line options) it works fine. There only seems to be trouble when I launch from GameEx - It is not just 'vertical' style games that have this problem - Yep, I've read the FAQ. :-) I've also attached the following (although I'm not sure they contain anything particularly useful) - My GameEx.ini - The results of running MAME with the 'showconfig' switch - MAME's error.log written whilst invoking the problem exactly once via GameEx (it mentions a 'soft reset', and also a resolution (800x600) that isn't what I expect (which is 640x288) Any ideas as to what might be going on? I'd much appreciate any help.. Troy. GameExIni.txt MameErrorLog.txt MameShowConfig.txt
