  1. ever wonder why it doesnt put it in the correct fonder?... if it knows the "visual pinball" media folders, ever wonder why it doesnt just put it in the "table images" if you press S and in the "backglass images" folder if you press D....

  7. heres a couple....
  8. PBX has a Screen Grabs (screen capture, screenshots) option <---this i know it puts these captures in folders, (Screen Grabs and Screen Grabs Backglass) <---- this I know I would like to designate or modify where the Screen Grabs go <--- Requested feature
  9. just for fun I will explain.... you walk into your favorite bakery, where you always buy a glazed donut... they have delicious glazed donuts...mmmm but today you have a hankerin for a chocolate eclair.... you walk in and look around after not seeing said chocolate eclairs, you ask the question "kind sir do you have any chocolate eclairs" the worker behind the counter replies "my good man, we dont have chocolate eclairs"...... you say "thank you" now the story could end there or it could continue like this.... worker: "but if you would like to add it to a request list for the baker, the sheet is over there" you: "thank you" lol
  10. no each question had its own thread and in each thread i was told these were requests not questions.... when infact they were questions
  11. right??.... lol thanks for the reply
  12. uumm what?... I was ask a question if this option already existed... the same as my first question I asked.... I'll break these down nothing I have asked so far on the form was a was a requested feature.... these were questions for help.... if the answers to these question are "these features do not exist" then, these become feature requests.... am I wrong?... where did this all go awry? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PBX has a Screen Grabs (screen capture, screenshots) option <---this i know it puts these captures in folders, (Screen Grabs and Screen Grabs Backglass) <---- this I know can I designate or modify where the Screen Grabs go? <--- this is/was my question ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ PBX has a category menu <---- this I know it sorts the info in this menu by the default XML we create, llike (year, manufacturer, type) <-----this I know how can I add categories to this menu (i.e more years, manufacturer) without making custom XML files <---- this iswas my question
  13. so is this your cryptic way of saying this is "not" an option but again would need to be requested as an option??
  14. out of laziness I've always just used static table and backglass images... I do love that fact I can do this right in PBX but how do I direct PBX to put these images to their correct folders within PBX?? (ie, tables go in the tables folder, backglasses go in the backglass folder) seems if it can put them in the correct system folder it would/could put them in the correct sub-folder where do I enter the correct path??
  15. thank you for your lightning fast reply....
  16. so I'm guessing there is no solution for this yet?, at this time?
  17. PBX has a category menu <---- this I know it sorts the info in this menu by the default XML we create, llike (year, manufacturer, type) <-----this I know I would like to add categories to this menu (i.e more years, manufacturer) without making custom XML files <---- requested feature
  18. first off been running PBX for over a year now... never a problem... thanks for the hard work... love it... I searched the word "category" "categories" with no avail to this question... is there a way to add new categories without additional XML?... I ask this because the stock categories are being sorted (I'm guessing) by the normal XML for each system... so using the game list manager and filling in the form (Manufacturer, Year, Type) these are saved in the XML and while PBX is running and you go to the categories and say you pick 70's... PBX goes and looks at the XML files and sorts all the tables that have the year 197* so I get how its doing its job... now how to I add a new category like 40's, 50's, 60's and so on?.... making a new custom XML seems silly if the menu is sorting from the original XML in the first place with all the info already keyed in. I cant be the only wanting this info, am I?..... any help here would be awesome again thanks for the hard work
